God wanted Adam to eat of the Tree of Knowledge. He placed the Tree in the middle of the Garden; then he gave a “negative suggestion” to prompt him to eat of the Tree; and lastly incited his unconscious in the form of the serpent. The Vayu Purana likewise says that people ate of the “wish-fulfilling” tree.
We suggest that the alternative interpretation of the Bible and the Vayu Purana are parallel.
First, God created humankind is parallel to four sets of humankind created by Brahma.
Second, God said there was no man to cultivate the land. Brahma said that creation was not taking place.
Third, God created Adam from dust. Brahma created Swayambhu from the quality of darkness.
Fourth, God placed Tree of Knowledge in the Garden; and fifth, God prohibited Adam from eating of it. The Vayu Purana is silent on this though the narrative slips into it.
Sixth, the Serpent told Eve to eat of the tree is parallel to the lower qualities encouraging Swayambhu to undertake cultivation.
Seventh, the Bible says the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened is parallel to Swayambhu beginning to cultivate.
Eighth, God cursed the Serpent to live in dust just as Brahma cursed the serpents to live in the darkness.
Ninth, God told women to bring for children in pain is parallel to the Vayu Purana saying that women began to have monthly periods.
Tenth, God cursed the earth to bring forth thorns and thistles along with crops is parallel to Vayu Purana saying that trees began grow in the homes of the people.

Sir Adam is same as Swayambhuv Manu/1st Man. I think Seth is Saga Kashyap. Enoch is Swarachita Manu/2nd Manu who invented cloths. Vivaswan/Vaivaswat Manu/7th Manu is Noah The great flood story. Abraham is Ram.. King Yayati is biblical Yakub/Jacob His son King Jadu is Biblical Juda Krishna is Moses who are descendants of Jadu/Juda/Jadeo. Job is King Harichandra their stories also very similar. Solomon is King Vikramdiya the king of justice.

(The hills of) as-Safā and Marwah are among the emblems God has appointed (to represent Islam and the Muslim community). Hence, whoever does the Hajj (the Major Pilgrimage) to the House (of God, the Ka‘bah) or the ‘Umrah (the Minor Pilgrimage), there is no blame on him to run between them (and let them run after they go round the Ka‘bah as an obligatory rite). @@reachhabeeb correct. But please see the tafsir by jalalayan and others. They used to stroke the idols on the mountains and the prophet said it was ok since they were doing historically. Worship of idols is not allowed. But allowed if others honor them.

@@commonprophets So if what you are saying holds true, then it means man has had this adam's apple from immerial times by virtue of their design. Not due to the degeneration of mankind which was caused due to the sin as has been reported in the Bible for Adam having consumed the Apple. I always thought as mankind denegerated (falling down) over time (putting yuga concept into the picture), man started acquiring certain things in their bodily development as is the case with women who used to have their menstruation cycle only once in a year but now in present time it's monthly. On a side note although it is reported that women is bound to suffer with painful delivery when birthing due to having consumed that fruit, but it certainly must be pointed out that nowadays women birthing in water is free from pain. So it's not true that women is cursed to suffer from extreme pain when birthing due to that curse. Just my observation.

You are only talking about Vayu purana. This is not a very authentic source of indigenous Hindu ideology. Why not refer to more ancient and authentic source of Rig Veda and Mahabharata. Puranas are later vedic texts having foreign (Mesopotamian) influence. The puranas show parallel to western stories of Egypt, Mesopotamia (summerian), Assiryan (ashur) and Iranian stories
