Right, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products such as cigarettes in Islam are forbidden and considered major sins for most Muslim people. The Islamic government prohibits or bans the selling of all the mentioned intoxicated products which can result to many serious complications like illnesses or diseases and can impair judgment and behavior.
