I did gym launch. He actually has you pay $1k a week for 16 weeks but right out of the gate he helps you set up all the systems to get 25 people a week to your gym and sell them a $500 6 week weight loss challenge. He gives you everything and then shows you how to convert them all into $147 a month members afterwords.

@Jroc834 Alex’s licensing was just about the business model. Each gym individually had whatever diet and exercise program they use. When I did it the $600 would be applied toward the membership and you can’t find a group fitness gym for $30 a month. If you have a trainer it’s going to cost you but you have a trainer who’s training you.

Originally came from a book called "Go for No! Yes is the Destination, No is How You Get There" wherein the sales trainer was telling you that you should expect no. Another book that references it before Chris Voss is Jim Camp's book called "Start with No: The Negotiating Tools that the Pros Don't Want You to Know". Both those books came out in 2011. Jim Camp's book is the better one.

I never judge someone by their looks. Also it depends on what you mean by the term "Legit". Do I beleive Alex Hormozi makes money (if that is your defination of legit), then the answer is yes (I just don't think it is anwhere near the amount of money mentioned, and that could be based off the 'valuation' of a business, but it has nothing to do with his personal net worth. However, I believe that the figures provided by a lot these 'gurus' are vastly inflated, I think there ultimate goal is just to make money ONLY from making KZbin videos/posting pictures on Instagram, etc. and not from their businesses that supposedely made them 7 or 8 figures.

Always your first clue that someone is a conman “fake guru” when they never tell you the names of the companies they supposedly made so much money from. Anyone know the name of this supposed set of gyms alex claims to have started with 1k dollars then sold for 300k? Also, why would any gym owner want to pay a guy to advice them who has never run a successful gym business? Dude straight up tells you he never made any money in his own gym and was forced to close them (he claims he sold them which is a lie) after nobody would give him credit bc he scammed so many people?

All the people that share on becoming wealthier, healthier, etc may or may not be telling the entire truth..... Who cares? Pay attention to the message and grab a few nuggets of info that you can integrate into your lifestyle and/or methods. To try and find something wrong in their stories and exploit that one thing to smear them entirely is just a waste of time.

only way to prove that income is independently with a bank or the government. I really don't believe most of this word of mouth on youtube. Most of these gurus probably just make money off youtube and their courses.

He doesn't sell courses to folks and he doesn't use simps to buy his bathwater. He made his money from exploiting a niche in the market and made failing gym owners richer and improved on their clients health through their programs. How much more legit you want it to be?

He does not sell courses. He literally made an entire podcast episode about why he won't sell courses. His brand is "I have nothing to sell you". Which is partially untrue because he does sell a book for 1$, but the profit he makes from that is basically insignificant.
