The controller of a trample creatures can assign excess damage to blocking creatures. So throwing a single creature in the way can stop the damage is players want to team up.

Great content! My only recommendation is reducing the number of mics. Two(one on either end of the table) should help with the weird echoing effect. That, disabling split audio(make left and right audio the same), and monitoring your audio input levels should help give you a better, more even audio.

Is there not a misplay in game 2, when Jeska is cast by Kyle, does it not enter at 0 loyalty, and instantly die to no loyalty? As there commander has not been cast from command zone at all this game? ( I could be wrong but I believe that is what would happen)
@Thingsintheice5 ай бұрын
You are 100% correct. Not sure how we missed that. Maybe the back to back games made us think he already cast Alexios. Either way, thanks for watching and great catch.

Game One, Turn 1, Rog/Si could have gone (besides going for Ad Naus, like someone else commented) Land, crack it for a black source, Rog, Culling the Weak, Sol Ring, Wishclaw, LED, Wheel of Fortune (ruining the other two players opening hands), and still had three mana left over for a Wishclaw activation/casting his new hand of seven/recasting Rograkh

Rogsi player coulda send a turn one naus and didn't 😢. Culling for 4, sol ring to 5, cast wishclaw to 3, activate and crack led back up to 5, cast naus

The same is true for Karn in the second match. Scince the ruling state "Alexios can attack planeswalkers its owner controls and battles its owner protects", maybe planeswalkers aren't the best addition to Alexios' list. But maybe they still are, Karn and Jeska are simply powerful. Edit: Nevermind. Wrote the comment before you talked about it.

@@TETTAhatHunger The attack on Karn was technically a misplay. Because Alexios was goaded from the Impetus, it specifically would have had to attack a player.

Alexios is far worse than slicer. You simply don't trample over blockers

Though many players don’t know that rule OR more often, don’t care enough to try to work together and apply all damage to chump.

In game 1, Agatha's Soul Couldron does not let you use colorless mana to activate Kinnan. In order colorless mana is a different type of mana than colored mana. To see this distinction look to the rulings on Gonty canny acquisitor from outlaws of thunder junction.
@Thingsintheice5 ай бұрын
I think there may be a bit of confusion with these cards. Agatha allows you to spend MANA as though it were MANA OF ANY COLOR to activate abilities of creatures you control. That means the infinite colorless mana can be used as though it were blue or green or colorless mana to activate Kinnan.
@michaelcasson48245 ай бұрын
not sure what you're talking about here, Agatha's Soul Cauldron has text that does allow you to use colorless to activate abilities that cost colored mana.
@joedoe75725 ай бұрын
What ruling are you talking about? I looked, and I don't know what ruling you mean
@michaelcasson48244 ай бұрын
@@joedoe7572 It's not a ruling. Agatha's Soul Cauldron has text on it that says "You may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to activate abilities of creatures you control."
