He was just putting the cart before the horse. Casual, informal dates first, then if the chemistry is there, THEN go to lots of trouble to really wow her and win her over completely. He's gorgeous, interesting, intelligent and willing to make an effort. I was in a relationship with a man similar to Nate - clothes had to be custom made, though 33, his longest relationship ever was only 8 months, with me, very specific standards. It became difficult to keep up with his meticulous requirements yet he was a world class classical musician with a genuine heart of gold. Everyone loved him once they knew him. Nate is obviously a good guy who can remain true to himself and keep his unique presence yet still break through some of the barriers of formality. It takes massive amounts of energy to be so "on" all of the time and he's young. A lifetime of such demanding effort would be exhausting for his partner and most of all for him. I wish the best for Nate. The right person exists and I hope they find each other.

The concept of the show stands, it is about chatting and getting to know each other. It is not a "job interview with a 52 question test" it is not about promoting yourself and it is not about getting into the Guinness Book of Records with the most "BESPOKE" said in 10 minutes. Also, there is already a PERFECT song from the Sound of Music about "Edelweiss" and do your research on this show by watching about 10-20 couples and you will understand the concept. Sorry to say, no wonder the longest relationship has only been THREE AND A HALF MONTHS . Next time, dress well in casual evening clothes, bring one single pink rose if you have to bring a flower, talk about "HER", do not boast about yourself and change the 3 1/2 months to "under a year" ...
