You guys are great together because Dina is like the dark, trash talking bad guy and Anna is the bubbly, sweet nice guy, which makes it fun to watch the interaction between the different styles. That’s not a knock on either of you because I can tell you are a lovely, fun person Dina and Anna is a tough serious chess player. You both have created great “content characters” of yourselves and I watch both of you on KZbin.

I like the format! Really like hearing both your thoughts on the mental part of the game, how you chose your moves to throw off your opponent, how you manage your time, etc. Also nice to see analytical, non-trash-talk Dina every now and then! Only a couple little things to improve: there were a couple times you temporarily forgot what move was played. Would be good to keep the move list handy so you can easily refer to it and get back on track quickly. And the audio - bit of an echo in the room you were in and the mic got bumped a couple times.

When someone is passionate about something, it can show on your face when things go wrong. An outside observer can interpret that with the person being mean or that they are angry at the other player, but it is typically internal stuff. Just need to walk away for a while and sort it out. Most good chess players are probably introverts to begin with (not meant as a bad thing btw, it's just that introverts are frequently misunderstood).

I always imagine Dina having an old Russian mentor secretly meeting her after her games, scolding her for every wrong move she did and for reminding her that overconfidence is a slow and insideous killer, scolding her for unnecessary flamboyance and unnecessary fun. I also imagine that coach looking like Konstantin from "killing Eve". 😂 In reality though, I'm pretty sure she has a coach like this in her head though. 😁

This game they’re replaying was a fun game, I’ve seen it from different channels. Love both these players. Dina puts on the fruity shirt/blouse [I think] as a form of respect to her opponent. She has changed into it part way through games in casual competition before, for effect. They are the Yin and Yang characters of chess, and play it well.

Anna's only real problem right now is that she will occasionally play a move that she "really likes" emotionally, even though it's unsound. She did not do that in this game, and her GM taught instincts stood her in good stead, such as with looking first at grabbing the opposition at 23:57. Also, Dina spent the night prepping against an opening that Anna knows is a meme opening and doesn't play seriously, while Anna spent the night sleeping while her GM mom prepped for her. Having a strong team helps too.

She's as good as Dina, despite Dina's approx. 200 more points in ranking, which is not a big difference in ability or talent.
