This is why KogMaw has no identity.. started as AP mid, got some reworks and became the best marksman during ardent meta, got some buffs on AP build and now is a better mid than adc.. Riot just dont know whether kog is ap long range mage, or on hit stand and fight adc..

​@@sneko2860 the passive is a very simple attempt at counterbalancing kogmaw's extreme weaknesses against bruisers or literally any character who can afford to walk right in his face and aa him to death. Is it effective? In today's meta probably not much, but to call it opposite to the champ's identity is a severe misunderstanding of what that identity is. It's just too simplistic to go "but all his abilities are long range, so his passive should too" and call it a day. 😂

Secondary to that, if you’re going to be forced to tank the damage because it’s really hard to dodge, why would you stand in the middle of your wave so he can clear wave AND hit you at the same time? Make him choose one or the other.

Its a slow moving projectile that is easy to predict and messes up the state of your wave. You usually dont react to skillshots but avoid them before they happen, otherwise it would be physically impossible to dodge skillshots such as thresh or ezreal q. Veigar and shacos lack of knowledge and fundamentals does not make kog maw broken.

Kog Maw’s E for its size is not slow moving AT ALL. If it’s centered on an immobile target then it’s a guaranteed hit. It has almost no windup or cast time. What you said is also wrong. Certain abilities may shoot out instantly and be too fast to react to. Thresh Q is not one of those abilities. It has a very obvious windup animation and lengthy cast time. Kog Maw E has neither of those.

And well when kog maw walks into his e range after 12 seconds of his last e you can simply walk away from it or 90 degrees against the direction where it would hit, unless kog maw knows the direction youd dodge into. Its a bit difficult to dodge if youve never faced kog maw or arent paying enough attention ofc and if its really hard for you to dodge you can just just t1 boots and farm under your turret because he keeps pushing by spamming e

@NomadicWitchhunt Thresh's Q has a massive windup. You do not need to predict which direction he throws it in. He is forced to look in that direction before casting it, and there is a visual indication (Thresh does a massive spin behind him with the hook) as to where the skillshot will land. The same is true for Morgana's Q, Dark Binding, and basically every skillshot basic ability of similar magnitude in league of legends. Nautilus' Q on the other hand, has virtually no windup, but is a much weaker ability in comparison.

@sweetwilly6663 no because she has the highest base healing in the game. Its the same as Darius lol. When you go to hit the wave use the impowered auto to hit the wave *and* them. It has crazy stupid range for a melee ability. And it gives you a shield. So any harass or poke you would get is midigated while you're csing. All at the same time. And for simply existing she gets 10 hp/s. Mwaning in 10 seconds she gets 100hp. Which this is amplified by second wind+dorans shield...etc. plus the health pits you'd surely have.

Seeing this makes ya just want to hop on kogmaw mid, play into talon and just get ripped apart due to poor positioning and die lvl 1, lvl 3 and then again at lvl 5. Once he gets lvl 6 your team stands no chance. End the game at a whopping 1/11, 50 cs down, and 4 reports down ur throat for intfeeding the 23/1 Talon. Noticing the obviously broken champion that talon is makes you queue up as the melee assassin for your next game. You overestimate your damage and take a pretty bad chunk lvl 2, you try poking em down but they’re playing Syndra, and are just far back enough where they can catch minions with Q and poke you down aswell (let’s face it, you’re not good enough to dodge her q) you die lvl 3 to a Teemo jungle. As the game progresses, each jump over a wall somehow always leads into a Teemo shroom, you don’t do enough damage to kill anyone, and you end the game having died to a shroom 4 times, with one kill because you dubstep ignite their adc in a team fight but them immediately die to Teemo Q and syndra ult. That Teemo character seems pretty broken in the Jungle though, so for the next game…

Don’t flame me but I mostly play ARAM. I love Kog but he’s nerfed and does 12% reduced damage in aram, which is absolutely dumb as hell. He’s very difficult to play into most aram comps. So he’s usually terrible bcuz he does 12% reduced damage and majority of champs are buffed in aram. Very common if you play kog to be against champs that TAKE reduced damage and have increased damage. It’s like you’re trying to clear baron buff minions you do zero damage playing him.
