I don’t get that crafty note, I get a brightness on the finish that I did contribute it to the younger whiskey in the blend, but thought it rounded everything out nicely. Nice review.

I’m hoping to get one but this series doesn’t make it around my area I’m a big fan of the fusion and origin series and buy them often. I’m waiting on the new wheater version which I hope will make it around my area soon. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃

Interesting, I felt the way about RR15 as you seem to feel about this. I loved everything about RR15, just not the finish. It turned bitter oak on me. 3-4 sips in it was better, but still there for me.

I have a sample of the R15 from Kelsey but haven’t had the chance to sit with it proper yet.

Agreed. I liked but didn’t love it, especially the tannic, sour oak on finish. I definitely wouldn’t put it anywhere near a top bourbon of the year. And I definitely won’t be hunting for a backup. Good overall but way too expensive for the experience.

Can’t agree. I don’t get any crafty note in the front, mid or finish. I think this is an absolute banger with dark fruit, caramel, vanilla, a little spice and sweet oak. I definitely glad I grabbed a back up.

I really enjoyed this 12. Blinded it against Disco 11 and its a toss up which ones wins any given time. I don't get much and craft on it. I just grabbed a back up over the weekend.

Disco 11 over 12 for me. Couldn't put my finger on why until your review. I think you are spot on with the craft. Really took me out of it. Glad I bought a back up of 11 but will be one and done with the 12. Cheers
