I would try to review the hard skills used by these jobs and use that and salary ranges as the basis of comparison. I imagine it would be less depending on the job, but if you've ended up not liking the work of a civil engineer, then the salary might be less of a factor than what you actually do on the job

data analyst/science because your math skills will transition naturally. Also half your coursework transfers. Web development is saturated and entry is really easy. Data science is right behind AI in terms of growth and skill shortage.

I just watched your Google vs IBM Analyst video- was informative! Is Data Scientist the next step up from Analyst? And is the job outlook the same? I'm guessing Analyst has more positions but also more competition. Thanks!

I think its more because like Mike the Data Janitor said, its about building KPI. So its mostly entry level. DS or DE is the next thing, which is more in-depth. Higher pay. Not as saturated as DA cause its tough
