the consequences of being a stay-at-home wife

I've been a stay-at-home-mom/wife for a little minute and it hasn't been a cake walk, but nobody is talking about the risk we take depending largely on our husband's to provide our most essential needs. He could leave and we'd be screwed, right?
I'm sharing my thoughts and experience in the subject.

I feel very "seen" just hearing you share your experience. I am in a similar place...and being with my babies is personally the hardest most rewarding job I've ever had. I'm making an investment in their lives and that's the "biggest FLEX" that won't reap its true reward until later down the line. I couldn't do it without my husband and honestly wouldn't want to. We are all on our own paths for various reasons, and I truly believe that I'm gaining lessons in humility, patience, and integrity--that couldn't be otherwise learned. I agree with so much of what you said. Thanks for sharing a portion of your path with us.
