I personally do have a love/hate relationship with zombies. I hate that it’s not closer to BO3 Zombies with the classic feel, but I love that you can get weapon progression on guns inside zombies. If you hit a new level and unlock a gun but you have zero attachments with it you can either spent some time in multiplayer with a nerf gun. Or take it into a zombies game and pack a punch it and make it gold, get to a high round using mainly that new gun and get it to like level 20ish then jump back into multiplayer and you’ll have that brand new gun with a bunch of decent attachments off the bat. Instead of getting slapped around in multiplayer for an hour trying to get a vertical grip and scope on your new gun

I’ve seen playthroughs of the new MWII and MWIII campaigns, and 2019 MW is still the better campaign imo. Thank you for bringing up skill based matchmaking, its the reason i quit moden call of duty. Its so unreasonable that they themselves not just halo had it figured out and it was perfect but they decide to just fuck over the players and quite literally rig the game against them. It's crazy how much the community has cried and complained and told them SBMM is a problem, and because they sunk so much money into their algorithm they simply cannot justify to themselves to delete it. They can also fluff up the vocabulary of what 'sbmm' is and pitch it to investors as a positive - giving false validation to the investors as to where their money is going. Truly sad, every game with SBMM has the majority of the community complaining about it and they gasilght everyone to pretend that it's actually a positive.

I enjoyed the campaign, pretty good. The last 30% sucked, including the ending. I don’t enjoy multiplayer anymore because of sbmm and how sweaty it is, and this multiplayer is basically MW3 all over again. The multiplayer lacks that Black Ops feel which sucks, including the maps feeling like scrapped MW2/MW3 maps that were too bad for those games. The zombies is the star of the game and it’s really good so far, and I’m excited for the maps they’ll add into zombies.

Just finished the campaign and I thoroughly enjoyed it compared to last years MWIII - and I also enjoyed Cold War when it came out. If you own game pass then I'd say its def worth checking out but if you are on PlayStation, I would just get the basic version - no need to buy the vault edition. The campaign was a solid 8/10 from me.

I love Charlie’s takes on stuff but I personally disagree with this. I’ve checked out of cod for years because every game has felt the same and boring. Black ops 6 is the best call of duty in years. It all feels so fresh, the campaign is great, zombies is awesome, and multiplayer is so refreshing and arcadey and there’s tons of stuff to unlock customization wise. I’d say if you have gamepass it’s worth giving this game a shot. There’s nothing to lose

Campaign is pretty good. Dolphin dive is back thank god. I think the zombies mode this time around is really good, 2 solid maps on release is awesome, and it feels like cold war zombies but has a bit more personality. Also hopefully the zombies story shapes up a bit better than recent times

XDefiant losing a big chunk of it's playerbase is actually a huge blow to the people like us who are against SBMM because half that game's marketing is on how it doesn't have SBMM and yet people now are pointing and saying that XDefiant is proof that having no SBMM makes your players leave :( Couple that with COD's "experiment" and the data they released that shows that SBMM keeps more people playing and I think it's a wrap

Halo 3 had the BEST matchmaking ranking system I have yet to see beaten. You had social and ranked playlists, social got you xp, ranked got you a number rank. You would cap out at either until you progressed the other to get your next rank. The absolute grind from 30's to 50 on SWAT was insane and so much fun, if I got frustrated in the rank grind, I could go pubstomp in social.

Fully agree with the match making point. There are too many people that think that you have to be good to start ranked match making. No you don't. It's for people that want to match against players of a similar rank/skill level, even if you don't think you're good enough. The first few matches might be rough, because the game doesn't know your skill level yet, but don't let that turn you off from playing ranked.
