What do you expect. The whole country has been under stress of the highest level, for 9 months. Cortisol is at it’s highest for everyone in the country. High cortisol means weight gain, belly fat and more. So, you can bet people are comforting themselves with good (great) Israeli food. You people do not need to put more pressure on these poor people, they have enough, get off their backs with this type of news.

As someone who was slim until I turned 50 and entered menopause, I feel what they’re saying about weight and guilt. I’m exercising as much as I used to and eating less and still have unsightly belly fat. I’m glad belly fat is now a measure of obesity rather than BMI. Please keep researching the best way to tackle it!

I am proud to know that I have never been overwieght, in fact I have problems keeping wieght on! I also am not someone that sits on thier backside watching TV all the time, turning thier brains into mash potato! I am British. My advise is to gradually adapt to a livestyle that is not unhealthy, habitually; and don't be hard on yourself when you slip up from time to time, it is not gonna change over-night.

I’m right there with you. I’m 36 and still do bmx and skateboarding. The doctor I work for looks at me and shakes his head. I refuse to resign myself to fishing as the most extreme sport that I do.
