Hi Julian. Try looking at the some apartments at The Sentinal (they are beautifully furnished and the apartment building is in the City Centre). St. Martini is also nice you get a beautiful view of the mountain from the balcony and they have a lovely Garden and massive pool.

Hike up to the table mountain using the Platterkloof Gorge route. It is very quick, a bit on the steep side but it it a good hike. When you get to the top at of Table mountain, have breakfast at the restaurant there, and then come down using the cable car, because we love our knees. Also try looking for a place by Greenpoint side, you can get really gorgeous accommodation for that price.

The first apartment is a BIG NO NO NO, Julian, Please keep looking, also try looking in areas like Table View, Blouberg, and Parklands, they are a stretch from the CBD but so worth it for the views and broader experience of what Cape Town has to offer.

Yes keep looking. Meanwhile say you need time to think about it. Before you decide to go for it, tell them to spring clean to get rid of tobacco smell. You might find something better, don't forget to bargain with them as well. On the other hand, you might not find something now as Dec and Jan is Cape Town's busiest times of the year. You could find great apartments in good areas such as Constantia, Durbanville areas as well, could even be cheaper.

Julian♥️♥️♥️ do not discard the Bloubergstrand side of town for living....Big Bay... You see the WHOLE mountain every day, are on the water, shops for everyday are quality, you can kitesurf or watch often, etc. etc l'm not getting paid for this, lol, l live here and love it. It's alll the best in one quality spor and you just zip around the bay to get to town. Come!!!

That rough mountain pitch in front of Table mountain is actually devils peak. And if you look to the right of the lions head you will see its body stretched out with its bumb the round peace at the end of the mountain The Lionse ear you can see on the side of its head .But you should take a stroll on the beach nearer to the sea put slops on so you can see the pretty cliffs and huge round bolders of stones I think you had a pretty day though Dont like that flat at all.You can do better .

The Property viewed is a no from me. I am in the Real Estate Business with family history of over 4 decades in Property Management and Development. I would recommend something in Camps Bay, Sea Point and Green Point if you would like to be close to the buzz of the CBD. Avoid lower Observatory, Lower Woodstock and the Gardens area at all cost when living or walking alone. Our City, people and vibes are extremely beautiful, but we want you to be safe.
