Terrible advice. If you are giving your body enough protein and calories to recover, you can absolutely train twice per day naturally. Chest and back, shoulders and arms, Legs and weak body part you’re trying to build up. The body adapts to what you put it thru. If you’re eating enough calories, and protein, and training smart and leaving your ego at the door, you can train twice a day no problem.
@ZA-im5bq
@ZA-im5bq Жыл бұрын
@@Mattscomicartif you train with high intensity (what you should do to build muscle) you will not be able, physically, train two times a day. And your argument on enough calories and protein: No, they don’t increase recovery speed or recovery ability. It is just more energy to build muscle, nothing to do with recovery.
@cooledry

@@Mattscomicart He literally talks about hitting the same parts twice a day, not different parts. Your heart is the most important organ on your body other than your brain. It’s what pumps blood and nutrients to your muscles, it’s counter productive to NOT exercise your heart. I’ve noticed an I grease in strength just by adding in more cardio to my routine. To all the trainers giving bad advice and saying “skip cardio” don’t listen to them. Muscle is nothing without a good heart.

Most people don’t want to spend their entire lives in a gym. Lift some weights, go for hikes, do yoga, eat and sleep appropriately and the rest will take care of itself.

That’s not what jay is saying either if You meat heads would freaking listen and pay attention instead of looking for your KZbin comment glory to shit talk a pro you’d learn something!!!!! All he’s saying is, when you get rid of all that white noise in the background, cardio is healthy and should be done, if you’re just building muscle and don’t want to waste extra calories where you Don’t want or need them then don’t do cardio. I mean for Christ sakes how hard was that to figure out!????? Jay cutler isn’t telling anybody hey don’t do cardio it’s not good for you 😂😂😂😂 most people like football too and manage to not be a Pro and do it for a living pal!!!! Jay cutler hit the gym 2 times a day because that was his job dude that’s what he did for a living, I work construction I put in 10 hour days there’s times I go twice a day cause for one I enjoy it and two depends what I’m training for. Here’s the thing with fitness you can’t run from, it’s not a hobby it’s not a cool thing to do to be awesome it is a lifestyle if you can’t live that life style don’t be mad bro, so what you can’t handle it do the best you can for your body and call it good, as Long as what you do do is done at 100% that’s all that matters, but man 😂 ya need to get rid of that bit of jealousy you got with that “most people don’t want to spend their entire lives in the gym” comment 😂😂😂 to remain healthy and stable bud unfortunately for you you do need to spend time in the gym a minimum of 3 days a week at an hour each that’s just the bare bones minimum, if you Can’t handle that maybe you should check your lazy gauge and realize maybe you’re in the lazy side of things 😂😂😂

Do heavy compound lifts for your training, and keep your rest times somewhat short. You’ll burn way more calories than walking for an hour. Just about doing machines at the gym, or small isolated movements- those burn way less calories and build way less muscle.

Cardio exercise has very little to do with fat loss. Diet, diet, diet. I lost 50lbs in less than 6 months and did no cardio at all. I changed my diet. Eat more (and smarter) and weight train hard. The fat will burn off you. Busting your ass on static cardio on a treadmill will do nothing for you.

Well you're trying to lose weight. So Skip the weights. I'm trying to bulk to combat my fast metabolism so I'm skipping the cardio. Simple. You're trying to lose not gain so you shouldn't even be thinking about lifting weights. Put all your energy into getting to 270 and once you get there THEN lift it you wanna put on muscle. You don't have to tho. Jays talking to bodybuilding fanatics that are hunting a larger physique

Nice i do weightlifting as the primary aspect of my training (around 4-5 hours a week) and do 3 8k runs which usually take about 40 minutes each. Cardio makes you feel way better after as opposed to weights in my opinion but weights are their own fun in a dreaded sort of way.

That’s not what cardio is for. Cardio is for heart health. When you’re heart is healthy you can pump blood more efficiently into your muscles which aids in recovery and growth. People too lazy to throw in a couple cardio sessions a week always have some argument like this.

Jay, It seems that many bodybuilders would have some level of hypertension. I've assumed that low impact cardio in the offseason would be helpful to combat that and allow us to push ourselves harder while staying healthy. It would be great to hear your opinion on this.

In my experience, light intensity cardio (hiking in the mountains a couple times per week) helped me in my hypertrophy phases. As a powerlifter, ive also noticed i get stronger while being active, as long as it isnt too intense and I am recovered enough between sessions. Increase calorie intake if you start doing cardio and your goal is to get bigger.
