Amazing video Keith , and Trent. I was in the “everything is pagan camp” for a long time. I was done with organized religion, and had stopped attending or taking my children to church. It was this rabbit hole that led me to see that Jesus did keep his promise. He wouldn’t even let the gates of hell destroy his church, so how could I believe the apostles dropped the ball a few years after the ascension ?! Jesus promised he would be with us to the end of the age, and he still is in our spirits and also in the Eucharist. Just like he said he would be ! Woohoo!

And why does the Catholic Church believe that Mary is devine... And why do you pray to Mary, don't you know Mary was and always was just another person in the Bible just like the 12 apostles were.... Mary is not devine Mary has no power to forgive sin's Mary is no different then Eve was.. You should not praise Mary, she is not or never was or never will be worthy of praise.... When the Bible uses the term gods (lowercase g) it is the word elohim, which means divine/spirit beings. We do believe there are other “divine beings” (angels, demons, the dead). Samuel’s ghost is called elohim in the Old Testament. St. Paul doesn’t deny that the pagan gods exist, he just identifies them as demons.

What about the goddess Eostre? (Easter) During the spring festival (around the Christian holiday, Easter) Eostre likes to be honored by people leaving eggs around for people to find. I find it weird because her name is literally Easter, which so happens to be the name of the holiday in which marks the day Jesus was Resurrected. The goddess Easter was around hundreds if not thousands of years before Jesus was even born

It's partly because they don't understand temple liturgy. Moses and the 72 elders had a banquet with God where they saw the "face" of God. The Bread of Presence in Solomons Temple was also called "the Bread of the Face" because it was in the presence of God. Three times a year the priests showed the people the "face of God" by showing the Bread of the Presence and announcing "this is God's love." The Church returned the sacred items removed by King Josiah from Solomons Temple during the first protestant movement in 640BC-609BC. King Josiah removed the altar, the anointing oil, the real menorah, the incense and the Bread of the Presence (showbread) from Solomons Temple. The Essenes and the Qumrans saw this act as desecrating the temple and insulting God. They viewed the second temple as corrupt. Christ the high priest-king instituted a new Temple with new Priests and a new Sacrifice and reinstated the Melchizedek priesthood hence all Catholic priests belong to the Order of Melchizedek which is pre-mosaic.

Trent, I am pretty sure your understanding of Peter in his epistle 2 Peter 3:8-9 is not how the Jewish people would have understood it. If we go back to Isaiah 13, Malachi 4, Jeremiah 51, Ezekiel 7, Joel 2, Amos 4, Micah 1 and Isaiah 19 these are examples of the Lords coming in judgment that they were actually talking about in Matthew 24 that was supposed to happen before their generation passed away (Matthew 24:34). So when they were asking about the promise of His coming that they were expecting, this is what they were referring too. Peter was not using a mathematical formula on how we are to view God on time, but it was to let them know the Lord is busy and not slack concerning His promise. It began a couple of years later, based on the eyewitnesses of Tacitus and Josephus who saw the sign in the sky which is required for this type of coming in judgment (the bodily return does not need a sign in the sky since He Himself appears). I recommend resources by Dr. Gary Demar and Dr. Kenneth Gentry who are the best I know of in this topic. Thank you

Eostre is not a German word, she is an ancient European goddess. Easter is her ancient holiday celebrating the vernal equinox and it was suppressed and appropriated. Her roots go back to the Indo Europeans, circa 6,000 years ago. These were the first people to domesticate horses and so they spread far and wide, East and West. Eostre, pronounced 'eoostray', is the same goddess as the Greek Eos, the Roman Aurore, Baltic Ausrine and the Hindu Ushas, and many others who are versions of the goddess of dawn, spring, and spiritual awakening in the ancient 'Indo European' religion. The Celtic goddess Brighid is a version of the same goddess in tripartite form with others and her name is cognate with the Sanskrit 'High one', a title of the Hindu dawn goddess, Ushas. She was appropriated as a "saint" after the Abrahamic conquest of Europe because the belief in her as a spiritual force persisted so strongly and her eternal flame still burns today. All Abrahamic religions are nothing more or less than composites of the more ancient, Indo European, Monotheism, Zoroastrianism, mixed polytheistic, fear based and authoritarian Levantine cults, like the cult of Yahweh the tribal raiding god of ancient Northern Arabia. Anyone who is interested can just look up the vast amount of scholarship on the subject of Zoroastrian influence on Judaism and Christianity. Other elements like Jesus turning water into wine are clearly derived from Greek cults, such as the cult of Dionysius, among others. These men are charlatans. They are frauds in a long tradition of con men fleecing the conned for profit. It is a sin to lie, no matter what creed you subscribe to. The truth is an ultimate virtue.

Christmas =Christ Mass. Pagan saturnalia festival for the birth of the sun on Dec. 25 was mixed into the pagan catholic church by transferring the birth of the Sun to the birth of the Son. This is how the papacy does things. Christ was not born anywhere near Dec 25, but Romanism does whatever it wants to get as many people in as possible. Same for how the Ishtar fertility festival with bunnies and eggs got transformed into Easter. There's a reason God calls the papacy the great harlot. She is unfaithful to basic truth.

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” Jesus promised to be with the Catholic Church till the end of time and the mandate to proclaim the Good News in Matt 28:20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Thus the Apostles have divine authority to represent Jesus on Earth and knew the correct interpretations of what Jesus taught. That is why they wrote the New Testament under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Apostles passed on these teachings to the Early Church Fathers and their disciples. The teachings and doctrines of the Catholic Church after 2000 years is the same as what Jesus taught and what the Apostles upheld. All of the present Catholic clergy can trace their ordination back to the Apostles. These are the biblical basis of the Catholic Church. All other Protestant denominations/churches are founded by men without any divine authority and are not found in the bible.

@@cbooth151 Since you claim i didn't answer your question so i give you a direct one - Since Jesus is not pagan, the Catholic Church is not pagan as it contains the fullness of Jesus's revelation AND the interpretation of it as taught by Jesus and the Apostles. Now to your 2 questions 1. Celibacy is a separate matter from ordination. Did the bible tells you these must be linked together ? 2. Don't you know the Protestants and Catholics have the same NT ??? Jesus promising to be with the Catholic Church till the end of time is contained in "your" NT and "my" NT. If it please you, I will share the KJV with you Matthew 28:20 KJV teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen Jesus told the Apostles "I will be with you till the end of the world". You refers to the Apostles. But the Apostles are humans and will die. However they have ordained Bishops, deacons and presbyters in Acts. Jesus will be with them and the next generation of bishops, deacons and presbyters so on and so forth till the end of time.

@@cbooth151 Your reply shows that you are another one of those heretic trolls who doesn't see reason and is only interested in a monologue rant. I have replied you regarding Jesus' promise to be with the Catholic Church till the end of time. You either didn't bother to read or your English language is wanting. Regarding celibacy it is you who says the ordination has to be linked with celibacy. What logic is that ? This is my reply to you and since it fit your paradigm you could register it as an answer. Pushing Saint Nick onto Christmas did too. Since they couldn't venerate saints on their own feast days all the Saint Nick traditions were done on Christmas instead. We need to seperate them again like Catholics should.

Hello. Respectfully Catholics celebrate Christ's birthday on December 25th even though He was not born on that date. Where was that date decided? Also similarly Easter celebrations...Why is the catholic church constantly praying to carry our cross and sufferings for the Glory of God and let people suffer in grace instead of actually teaching what Jesus actually did that is to heal people and relieve all kinds of suffering including diseases? That is totally contradictory to what Jesus actually did. I was catholic for so long and have never seen this church have any real successes in actually healing people. They constantly want people to suffer with grace with no victories. Absurd! They do not know how to truly heal. That is why they keep saying this. Let us reason together.

Easter and Ishtar is just about as connected as "his" in "history" to a masculine pronoun.

Christianity is a retelling of the ancient mystery school lessons, but I'm not anti Catholic. I see the two camps here, that it's either Christianity is bogus cuz myths or it's all true. It's not as simple as that. Knowing the faith echos back to ancient astrotheology and the mystery schools doesn't weaken my faith, for me, it's vastly enriches it. Does anyone else feel this way? This position I don't ever hear. It's usually Christians either attacking each other with the evidence of paganism roots or flat out in denial of it. This is why religiosity is garbage. And why spirituality is the genuine path

For those of you who are asking why the hats of the bishops and cardinals are shaped like a fish alleging that those are Babylonians, it can be traced back to Jesus mandating HIS disciples to become “fishers of men” and for the early Christians, the fish is their main symbol. Any follower of Jesus knew a fellow believer as soon as they see that sign. Correlating it (fish shaped hat) with the Babylonians is superficial. Although that fish symbol needs to be changed to escape persecution into a wheel (a circle with a cross inside) and ultimately into a cross we knew which is very similar to the last Hebrew letter tav (aleph is the first, compare to the alpha and omega of the Greeks)
@TIJoe-te9qu Жыл бұрын
Nice dodge, but the fish hat is pagan from Dagon the fish god, like many other pagan things baptized into the papacy. No apostles wore a fish hat, only the papists.

It is the only denomination founded by a pagan, Emperor Constantine. He never let go of his paganism and brought it into the church. He started the denominational format of the Roman Catholic Church and several centuries later other denominations started but each were founded by born again believers. We need to go back to first century format and get rid of the denominational structure.
