I think Citroen has made a car that minimises sending back for repair or parts replacement every now and then . They may have sensibly done this keeping their limited service centres in mind. No subroof is one example - no sunroof means no water leaks.

The good thing is that cittroen was able to make the hype properly. Their marketing team does the great job here by launching it same time with curvv. Basalt gets many more attention due to competition with curvv... Whether you hate it or love it.. You will speak about it unlike what happened earlier with aircross or c3 itself.

First of all. I enjoyed the Review. Price is little higher side. For this price xuv3x0 is offering best and most powerful engine too TCMPFI. BASALT BasE VARIANT OFFER NA engine. Safety also important. Ground clearance 200mm offered by 3xo. Looking at this either Nexon or 3x0 is a better option

3XO barely has any boot space. Nexon has barely got an auto transmission worth driving. Features wise they win. But sheer driving experience, Basalt wins it hands down. It doesn't drive it glides

Seems to be a more rounded package than before, though still could use few more features to make it more 2024. Overall styling works and is much better than Tata Curvv; and maybe bigger wheels could have made it even better looking. Citroen is slowly learning and making changes, hope they find the right mix as fewer cars are anyways are sold in their top variants in this category.

Good car if you keep in mind the pricing and it is better then some sub 4 meter cars but you can't compare it with other 4.3 meter cars like creta and seltos just because its length is also 4.3 meter. A lot of big features are not there and the quality of the infotainment screen and drivers display and even the audio system is just not comparable with other segment leaders

Except for that eyesore that is the meeting point of A-Pillar with the Roof, it could have been smoother, instead of lifting it straight out of the C3 Aircross. It spoils that coupe effect it wants to have. they have done it with the C4X, why not do it with this?. Because of that Sharp angled A-Pillar meeting the roofline, many would associate this with Swift Dzire 1st Gen.

They are not selling much, tooling cost is very high. They will come up in facelift. Stallentis is very frugal in investment. I don't think they will change it until recover tooling cost.
