I beg to disagree with you Matt. You're such a handsome lad. Also love the content you make. Thanks to the introduction to ai art, you've helped me make my own concepts and explore and have fun to share with friends. Although I do worry about how A.I. art will change the landscape of art and artists as a whole. People pay for art and artists make a living that way. What happens when everyone can make beautiful artworks then? What happens to the artists? At least the human artists. Either way, new technology does lead to an addition or subtraction of work and jobs. Technology takes the good with the bad, and that's life. I’m excited to see the future of the A.I. workspace. Here's to the future of art.

Great informative video Glibatree! I've been testing the models myself recently, trying to generate concepts for character faces and Dall-E 2 definitely has the best results, at least for what I've typed. I should note that Nightcafe has a Dall-E 2 implementation now.

Thx for this video. I was so lost with choosing the right platform for my generative ai art and this certainly helped out a lot! 🎉 Dall E looks more like a professional art, like for galleries. But for me doing ai animation, mj look sufficient for my needs.

I've been using midjourney to create t-shirt designs and I find the pricing model is the only one viable. I guess I should say that I absolutely hate prompt-engineering. I really hope tools come along that remove the need for excessive description of style. I favour generating lots of images and discarding most of them over laboring over wording complex prompts. For me, MJ does this best with unlimited generations.

@@dibbidydoo4318 Midjourney doesn't have a graphics editor, but I do save and edit the images with Affinity Photo I think the future of AI image generators may lie within being modules within general graphics programs. Adobe is conspicuously silent on the subject but you can bet that they're in the boardrooms discussing how to get into this space.

@@TehBananaBread I'm aware you can set up Stable Diffusion locally, but not Midjourney or DALL-E 2. However, unless you've got a bitcoin miner level computer SD will be incredibly slow and AI generation involves a lot more misses than hits. I also really like what MJ produces over the other engines. It just has a level of artistry the other two don't. Also, you look foolish when you lyao at people more knowledgeable than you think you are.

How long will it take until Ai can depict SpikeBoarding skiing athletes in all three of the SpikeBoarding techniques, CXC, ICXC and SUS strokes? I enjoyed this video a great deal. Keep them coming. It will be interesting to see what system can achieve the above first. No commercial illustrator has ever depicted SpikeBoarding for their book. I have commissioned paid work for them to do it. No one has ever drawn SpikeBoarding for their portfolio. Except me of course. I made SpikeBoarding skiing. It is simple to find.

I think you didn't talk enough about community. For Stable Diffusion, the community and the things that people have done for this AI are very important. With stable Diffusion you have freedom and the most possibilities.

Yeah, I chose to focus only really on the versions of Stable Diffusion you can access on DreamStudio because otherwise there just would have been so much to cover. But thanks for the note, it's good fodder for a future deep dive.

but stable diffusion is open source and the results can be controlled, which means it wins. The other ones are toys.

Agree. Been running Stable Diffusion on my GTX 1060 locally, yields great results and is pretty coherent, plus fine-tuning is relatively easy.

to me it's very bad that you pay BEFORE your result, because for any reason you could not like it, but for that you still spend your credit it sould be the opposite: before you create, maybe idk you see a preview, and then if you click, enlarge or whatever to copy it, you spend credits

in my opinion dalle2 is the best image generator, but it is more profitable to use it on web pages like Playgroundai and Openartai

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't anticipate those sites being able to keep the same access in the long term. I agree it's a great deal right now, but when OpenAI starts charging market rates for their API and compute times. (Dalle is also way more powerful computers, than are needed for MidJourney and especially than StableDiffision) That in mind, I expect those rates will go up as well. So use them while you can haha

Dall-E is quite good, but so are Midjourney (way less expensive) and Stable Diffusion (free!) So DALL-E is simply not worth the money right now imo.
