is DNA intelligently designed? The best chances are it got started by a designer, then self replicated itself. With all the best intelligent minds in the world we can't create anything like it and this is also having the DNA to imitate. People could believe such a thing could be initially started by chance processes, but based on our experiences it seems highly unlikely.

I'm a devout Catholic who is working on his master's of electrical engineering here in Ontario Canada and have always knew that science is just the how of God's creation now I find more brilliant people are finding distinct evidence of this is great

By the materialists own laws the attributes of the effect cannot be greater than the cause. If immaterial mind is the effect the material brain cannot be its source as how can matter create the consciousness that rules the brain itself and has dominion over matter. Since we know that we have not created our own mind that infers a greater cause that has all our attributes and more. The prime cause resulting in all the various reflections of it from lower to greater would be the creator.

Excellent point.. maybe off topic, but based on the many evidences in the universe I do believe in a Creator, but that doesn't change the fact that organized religions and especially Judaism, Christianity and Islam only bring hatred, division, bigotry and violence. Organized religions have nothing to offer humanity. I'm an apostate for saying this according to fundamentalist Muslims. As an "ex-traditional-Muslim", I strongly urge all religious people to bravely question all the dogmas they have been indoctrinated with. Don't be afraid, if God exists, He is not a psychopath who will burn you in Hell for using the brain He gave you :) God is also not a Muslim, Jew, Christian, Hindu or Buddhist. We are all equal.

I love Meyers hard work in his research and hard work in demonstrating the real design in nature - vs Richard Dawkins who is seeing the same things but just does not want to accept it and therefore makes the absurd statement that it is an Illusion ! yes ABG I wonder Stephen Meyer if you attribute design in nature to the Triune God of most Christians or the God of the bible and the one the Jews believe in ?

"750 megabytes of raw information into a cell nucleus just a few micrometers across" Extreme Tech August 19th 2015. So if the cell can hold that much information packed inside it. And human minds are just now understanding how to harness it as a storage medium. Then Neo Darwinian natural selection is out. As you need not only the source code for every living cell created but the storage devise present before you build one living organism or it doesn't work! I might add, You need super computers to decode the information in a meaningful time, to extract the information from it. So what naturalistic mechanism in the universe has that ability? AS you only have the four fundamental forces found in nature that actually cause something to happen. As Chance, Random, Time and Unguided are not physical forces! So whom has the answer? And it better not be the Borg or VGER. I will laugh in your face so hard!

Couple of problems: 1. That such asserted complexity is unlikely to occur among inanimate objects doesn't mean it couldn't happen in biological objects. This is an old argument against evolution. 2. Even if it were unlikely that such complexity could occur among biological objects operating on just evolutionary forces of survival of the fittest, at best, it would mean that such phenomena would remain unexplained. To make the leap to intelligent design would employ the argument from ignorance: we don' t know, therefore (plug in any conclusion). 3. One would still have the problem of establishing the existence of the designer and address the question of who designed the designer?

If we find a strange looking rock formation that spells out characters of an unknown language, must we find out exactly who put them there and who designed the people who put them there before we can say for sure that these rocks didn't end up that way by pure chance? Instead of trying to answer the original question you move the goalposts. It's a ridiculous argument.
