As a driver, I’ve noticed over the past year that the offers are lower for deliveries and the distance is getting longer for less cash. That’s a recipe for disaster. Remember, you’re paying for your own gas, which is not cheap - and wear on your vehicle. To make it even more challenging, DoorDash has an acceptance rate review. Namely, if you let low offers go and do not accept them (as you shouldn’t) you may get penalized for it. Yikes! Obviously, why drive a 20 mile round trip delivery for a 3.95 tip??? Who would do that??? One who lacks wisdom.

Doordash is a waste of time. It doesn’t matter how good you’re dashing . The way they rate drivers is disgusting 🤮. and they want you to drive crazy distances for $3 hoping the customers tip. And not even that the app itself attacks your ratings for so many dumb reasons. Whoever controls doordash system is dumb. Because if you cancel a pick up for reasons that can affect their own system that can make a customer not wait for too long because of the long wait. They drop your ratings. and they don’t pay you for long wait. and if you fall behind 80% they cancel your account for doing the right thing . Yes you can make money but you have to know how to pick. But they want you to pick every damn thing. Like trips for $2 to drive a total of 20 minutes .get the f out of here.

It sucks, you work 5 hours to make $50, the pay has dropped big time on Door dash. The offers are horrible, it used to be a great app, not anymore.

If you're dashing in the oklahoma city or edmond areas 160-200 a day is doable for 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week. I do 1030am to 230pm or 3pm whenever i make 80 bucks. Sometimes it rolls over as far as 330 or 4 then i go home. Eat lunch enjoy myself go back out whenever i feel like scheduled 530pm to 1030pm. Giving the option for a very large break but if i cut it short i get home sooner. I get a another 80+ at dinner. That shift is far more likely to tip.

Door Dash request to have access to your location 24/7 and to me that is disturbing. Door Dash does not have the right to be tracking someone unless they are actively driving for DD.

I’m sorry for this long comment I got so much to say🤦🏽but Bro please make videos on the treatment dashers are getting🤦🏽 1:why are they being penalized or rate poorly for missing item In an order🤔dashers don’t have access to what’s in those bags🤷🏽mostly those bags are sealed🤷🏽if anything missing it should be the store’s fault not the dashers🤦🏽but no they gotta find someone to take the blame so they pick on the dashers😂 2:store workers don’t really have respect for dashers that’s also a turn off🙄so as a dasher you can’t rush them if they want to make you wait for hours for the order there’s nothing you can do 3:why is the customers can still rate a dasher poorly when they follow instructions from the app customers mention leave at the door which dashers do why rating them poorly they only have one job which is pick up the order bring it to customers🤷🏽customers got their delivery brought up to them on time why doordash give them the access to rate the dasher🤷🏽I can understand they can still rate but their rating shouldn’t affect the dasher cause doordash can see when dashers arrive at the store when they get the food and how long it take them to get to customers if there was no contact made between dasher and customer why their rating affect them

No. Terrible job to have and terrible job for the rest of all businesses in every locality because now delivery drivers have much less work for restaurants that have them and the door dash/Uber/Lyft drivers don't get paid for sh!t. It's lower pay in every situation so they're all just crappy companies - they're trying to pull a Walmart in delivery driving and taxi services. Just get a taxi. Taxis are much safer, reliable, and much more traceable - about 1/2 of the time I ever tried to get a Lyft or Uber they cancelled on me like 20 minutes before the needed ride and it really screwed me over, taxi services don't pull that bullsh!t. Uber drivers have to use their own cars - it isn't worth it to even drive for them because you have to use your own damn car, delivery driving and doing a taxi type service does a huge amount of damage to a vehicle so its a really gross way for the companies to save a huge amount of their profits and put the cost of it on their employees (except everyone that works for them is billed as a private contractor so they don't even get the basic workers rights that even minimum wage workers get). If you're getting food from a restaurant ask if they have a delivery option first before you order it from door dash. No one should be choosing these corporate methods *first* . I get the convenience of it, but you don't want to promote them more than you need to - the last thing you want is for them to become the *only* option because the business model is so invasive. Once they put everyone out of business that is a competitor they'll raise their prices just like every other garbage corporation will and that's their entire goal. This is the exact thing Walmart does all over the country - their goal is to price gauge every other business around so they end up either going out of business or no longer have delivery options. The worst thing is most of the drivers end up doing it all at a loss with their own vehicle.

Doordash is a horrible company. I worked for them a bit yeah. They do try to work out their long term drivers by engaging in nefarious activity on their accounts like sending them. Fake orders that don't have ant to address or sending you to another district. That's the way outside of your zone and then penalizing you and you decline so. I would say to anyone considering it. It's good for like the 1st month but after a while you'll slowly realize you're doing serious mileages and learning pennies they know what you learn. In the 4 hour shift 30 million dollars but you spend and maybe more than. I want you guys don't take this on if you're gonna. Do more than 3 shifts a week? Make sure you have a very gas efficient car. Any gas guzzlers? It's not gonna be worth it like practice cheap gold 1st.
