Pete's familiarity of fish behaviour is valuable. On the 54dd when he says "they will check but still call off " is a great observation.

This stuff is gold, best poker educational channel by far!! I`m trying to improve my red line and this content has helped tremendously!!

Watch out, it’s easy to improve your redline when you’re consciously trying to achieve that. Just gotta fold earlier and bluff more

Really enjoyed this one - you guys should do a mini series - think that would do very well imho as you guys have a good dynamic

17:53 I'm a little confused because in Grade E - Lecture 4 you say Triple Broadway boards are massively underbluffed when HJ/UTG triple barrels. Why is this hand an exception to the rule?

The flop check at 36:14 hurt my soul. That's an auto bet with 3 clubs on the board.

42:00 you would not believe the number of times I have seen fish exactly like that slowplay and value own themselves on nut changing rivers with trips playing it like it's the unbreakable nuts. it happens beyond constantly. unless I have a read that said fish is tight I am NEVER folding in that spot, ever.

Hmm, the question of mine would be - Is the guy in the last hand with "Ace of duece" really turning his trips into a bluff? Or is he just overplaying his hand?

feedback for Easty, as another 100nl player who has made 100k in live poker and watches you sometimes. rework on your game also mental. you think about outplaying people but with bad hands. i am commenting before seeing showdown. KJs pre fold. 8J no need to go that huge on turn. river clear b 75 not 2x shove, what you thinking. 56s. wp. can consider river bet 10% to induce hearts. A5. dont 4bet pre rather use KTs AQs. if you are going to do it bet turn half like Pete said. KQo probably against bad player 4bet bluff. call ok. but fold to turn as huge bet. then fold river as not a card he will bluff. 45 fold. underbluffed imo. QT vs stain fold pre. JJ vs stain. x fold flop. as played just give up. triple cant be terrible if he doesnt have AQo. again fold to 3bet pre vs stain. already flop you hate his half pot so i hope you fold to any turn bet there. AK as Pete says bet turn small also vs nutflushdraw. 33 set imo overbet turn bigger, nfd not folding for 150%. as played fine. KQ deep imo dont call3bet with this hand much rather all suited aces. maybe 4bet bluff. river bet size ok. i like OB. KQ personally i like bet turn. for sure worse calls. imo river fold as scary river to bluff but i get call. AA riv pot fold. fold to rivraise. AK bet flop bet turn x f river. or as played bet river fold. imo he wont bluff enough when you check river. JTs i like pot turn to actually get folds from 99 88. river bet fold. thanks for putting yourself out there to be criticised by loners like me .
@chadharris7055 ай бұрын
JTs is closer to an open jam on the river than it is a bet fold especially against described player. I'd also rather have 99 and 88 call turn for a smaller bet and we jam river and they fold.

Pete you are always talking about magnitude vs frequency, and that you should be putting your money in when you are ahead. But not so much here also, look me in the eye and tell me you are snap folding that J high flush on the last hand, i dont believe you

I’d say he’s quite shit; for instance one example he didn’t know what to do with AQo vs a 3-bet, and folded.

Easty, why are you calling QTs to a 3bet vs a stain? It's worth something like 1/10th of a bb more than folding at equilibrium. Nits usually put more money in the pot on flop than equilibrium will because they have a stronger range than they should. This shifts ev away from any hand that isn't a pocket pair, AK, or a suited A. It adds ev to pocket pairs. You can literally just defend pocket pairs, AK, and maybe your best few AXs and call it a day. Also why are you calling him a nit publicly on the internet? Don't give them chances to change. The revenge comes from exploiting fish faster than them and knowing that they will have a mental breakdown in their mid 30s because they haven't been able to beat rake at a meaningful stake for 5+ years. Don't rob the world of that justice. Let it play out.
@chadharris7055 ай бұрын
Ya i was gonna post the same thing. I just routinely fold QTs here to these nitbags. Why are you giving them money?
