Hey... A question im currently studying in school and plan on studying fashion i have designed many dresses but never sewed one is that okay?
@luvrisafashion6 ай бұрын
i think having some basic sewing skills is important however you don’t necessarily need to know how to make a full garment yet. it all depends on the school, but i would invest in a domestic machine and get some practice in xx

Ya i know basic sewing and gonna invest in a machine soon thanku♥♥

Hey, I was wondering what you meant by like knowing designers, like how does it benefit us and stufff. I'm also thinking of going into fashion school so I was curious. Also i didnt do Art for my GCSE's, is Art essential or is it alright?
@luvrisafashion3 ай бұрын
heyy knowing designers is practically essential in the industry, you need to be able to make references and to credit ideas/inspiration. Art isn’t necessarily important but if you’re not doing art i wld recommend doing textiles. without either it wld be best to take a foundation year xx (this is just for fashion design not like fashion business) 🩷

Hi!! Ur vids have been so helpful for me since in deciding on what to do in uni but i have one question. I wanna do fashion AND business in a normal uni since if i go to a fashion school i wont be ablw to do both, do you think it would be worth it? Or would it be too much to deal with?? TYYY IN ADVANCE
@luvrisafashion2 ай бұрын
heyy i think if you have the right time management it could be done! some fashion unis do have modules that do business as well as fashion design so its just finding the right fit for you and prioritising what you want to do most

hey, girlie! I just had a quick question. so I am interested in fashion but there are so many courses in fashion like fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion styling, etc. so do you think studying fashion marketing or styling or management in worth studying for 4 years in uni? (btw I love your videos and always look up to you for my fashion journey
@luvrisafashion6 ай бұрын
heyy! so of course i can’t speak from experience in these courses but i do have friends who are rlly enjoying their styling classes. again the biggest pro wld be networking and it can rlly help you get a step up and teach u about industry, but ofc its expensive. hope that helped a little! 🩷 good luck
