Unfortunately what people fail to appreciate is that S4 Floch would have been greatly appreciated in S3. Everyone is quick to get mad because they're fighting humans in S4, but weren't they always fighting humans? Even in S3P1 they knew, and Hanji and Levi still torture and kill people, while embracing their roles as devils, prior to even knowing about Marley. When it is the last survivors of humanity against a corrupt government and the threat of extinction via Titans, the Scouts are justified. But when it is the last survivors of Eldia against a corrupt government and the threat of extinction via sterilization and war, the Jaegarists aren't? The way I see it, Floch is a veteran of the Battle to Retake Shiganshina, his fellow comrades turned on him so easily, and killed the other recruits so mercilessly, while constantly going on and on about "world peace" and "negotiation" with Marleyans. But I guess its all okay, because Floch is a "devil" and "so evil he deserves it"? Sounds like Marleyan propaganda. You can love Floch and love humanity too. Love the video analysis bro great work 🔥

I think another important point about why Floch is Erwin's successor are his leadership skills. Sure, he isn't the embodiment of Erwin's ideals, but what makes him his true successor is his ability to encourage the masses to work together towards a common goal (in this case Eren's plan). The reason why I don't think Armin or Hange are Erwin's true successors is that they don't have the confidence and commitment of Floch. They always seem to be second guessing themsleves constsantly. Although it is good to question yourself sometimes, like when Eren was desperately trying to find an alternative plan that would cost less lives yet still benefit the Eldian people, Armin and Hange can't commit, which makes them appear weak. Floch on the other hand, is fully commited to Eren's plan. He knows that the genocide is the endgame. The world decided to fight Eren, so Eren decided to fight the world. In my opinion, it is the only way without cooperation from multiple sides, which is highly unrealistic due to the attitudes the majority have against Eldians. The Alliance's plan is far too unrealistic and idealistic to ever work in the real world. If the Alliance win, there is a high chance that the world will still end up wiping out Paradis. Floch knows this, and is honest with himself and the people around him, which creates mutual trust. Of course, Eren already being a national hero helps his cause, but it was Floch who helped turn the peoples desire into action.

Yet another interesting video! Really enjoyed it. Talking about something else, I wanted to ask you something. I would've done it privately, but I couldn't find any of your contact infos. Sorry for doing this under a video! Long story short, in the last couple months I've been planning the preparations to start my own YT channel. Among other things, I've also thought about how to handle thumbnails. The issues is, the idea I had is pretty much the same format you have (which is also why I ended up discovering this channel, lol). Now the thing is, I'm not much of a graphic designer, so I don't really have any idea on how to rework my thumbnail from scratch. So I felt like it would be fair to ask, is it ok if I use my originally intended ones, even tho they look very similar to yours?

I think Floch is the embodiment of what Erwin would look like without him being romanticized by the author as a "noble" leader. This is the mainest reason why most of the fandom likes the latter, whereas it hates the former. Such unconscious hypocrisy seems to be hilariously ironic.

Floch is Erwin's True Successor? What? Seriously, this narcissistic fascist (seriously, the Yeagerists are clearly a parody of the early fascist/Nazi movements in their early days) at best is a parody of Irwin.

I suppose "Is Floch Erwin's True Successor?" would have been a better title lol. But in the video I make it clear that he doesn't embody Erwin's ideals like Hange, Levi, and Armin do. The only way in which he embodies Erwin is taking the "devil ideology" to an extreme. But even so, if Erwin was alive to see his work being carried forward in the manner it is by Floch, he would be greatly disappointed.

I almost didn't click because I thought this would be like all the other awful videos about how Floch is Erwin's sole successor, as if Erwin's devil side was all that he was.
