Has nothing to do with Yoko, it's him mocking the John Lennon song All you need is love, was slated for only money, had to leave it out after Ray Collins quit the group...john hadn't left his wife for Yoko when this was written....so hardly anyone knew who Yoko was...

Very, very interesting. I've loved that song since released, but I thought I was the only one of my friends who knew it, so I never discussed it with anyone. It's amazing that Frank's depth is still being analyzed.

The melody came before the text and I have always thought it was a comment on Beatles’ ” All you need is love”. Are you completely sure the text was written as early as -67?

@@jonasolsson2256 At the latest, it was written by Feb. of '68. What I find quite fascinating about it, however, is how it sort of alchemically prefigured the event of John & Yoko's proselytizing. Such is the way of Frank's vision.

I believe it is apparent. And I believe that Zappa was not specifically attacking Lennon’s wife’s obvious tapestry of advised change for politics and diplomacy. Which Lennon and Yoko were certainly assured within themselves they were impacting. I truly believe that Lennon and Yoko believed they could speak or write what their minds were conceiving at the times in question, and that they believed that modulation of a new peace would occur worldwide from their focus on describing what IT was. What they said IT was Would make IT change LOVE is not IT’s antagonist We have become accosted to a concept of IT, that is incorrect IT, is not what we think it is Because LOVE cannot fix it to this day And we’ve assumed whatever IT is, does not love and suffers its opposing power. We are IT If only Yoko and John could have considered “Be action, all you people. Living in a …” Instead of “Imagine… Imagination is our magic we let sit Idle.

An ongoing dilemma between the value of action vs. the value of imagination as you define it ("that which is idle") is the continuity of our "government". But with omnipresent broadcasting, "imagination" (creative information) supplants kinetic action so both become hysterical.
