Do you all agree that Jujutsu Kaisen is basically like Blue Exorcist? I mean the jujutsu sorcerers are “exorcists” fighting curses (and or demonic entities). The MC is supposed to be “evil” but uses their power to help the good guys. A little note about the pact - if Sukuna forcefully takes user using the trigger word then the conditions of 1 minute and no killing apply but, if Yuji swaps willingly or Sukuna can take over without the trigger word then the conditions don't apply meaning Sukuna isnt limited to a minute and can kill an much as he wants. Sukuna basically proposed a deal with a huge loophole that he could exploit.

What i think that will happen: The demon helps to collect the fingers and uses chant to remove all 20 to a new body (or make a new body out of air). Thats where he needs the minute for. That way he wont harm of damage others because that simply is not his goal. He wants freedom Damaging and killing will come after he is free. But then there is the 'i wont damage' part This means he has to endure resistance of others (even if he runs or makes a wall) and has to play defence I think this will happen when Gojo is not around. After riveival is complete Gojo will be there and he and and the others will fight him. Also i gess the man in the restaurant will point out the man sitting. Now the fight will happen and i gess the 3 say they work together with a human and will come back. This means they need to find out who that person is and the man who ran away will tell. What do you guys think of this? ;)

So I'm up to date on the manga so minor spoilers about Binding vows. There is two primary types that are brought up a lot, binding vows with oneself and a binding vow between two people. A binding bow with oneself works very much like Hunter X Hunter nen, in that you can create a restriction on something in exchange for a boost somewhere else. The more harsh the restriction the better the boost, and it is stated the most powerful kind is a restriction that entitles potential death. A binding vow between two people has never been mentioned to be modified after it was created, and it is confirmed that neither side of a binding vow has more power than another unless it is agreed upon. If someone breaks a binding vow with another person the effect is random, but it could potential lead to instant death or could cripple them for life this includes even powerful curse beings. So even really powerful cursed beings are very careful with binding vows. At one point a cursed being cracked a joke about breaking a binding vow he made and another cursed being scolded him explaining that there is no room for interpretation for the rules, they are already set in place and attempting to abuse a loop hole will still result in punishment which is completely random and unpredictable so it could result in death.

This show has some balls, most other shounen would maybe injure a couple innocent bystanders with the threat of killing the rest. But here, everyone in the resteraunt catches on fire and die horrible deaths. And now I'm eagerly anticipating Gojo kicking the volcano curse's ass because of it

What I find weird is that Sukuna finds Megumi intresting enough that he was willing to make a pact just to stay alive in Juji (even tough he was more than willing in killing himself before the ending of the fight) but decided to return/switch when he met Gojo. Megumi wasn't even mentioned as one of the students "on par" with Gojo...

Great episode but there are 2 questions nagging at me: First, there was no cooldown mentioned in this pact. What's to stop Sukuna from continually taking control every minute? Second, If they were in Sukuna's mind or domain why did he still have Yuuji's appearance?

I can't answer the first question, but as for the second, there was a cover in the manga that showed art of Sukuna from hundreds of years ago. He was pretty demonised (four arms and eyes, huge build, markings, etc) but his hair was still pink like Yuuji's and lightly resembled Yuuji. I may be wrong but I think the reason why they still look alike is because Yuuji's is just Sukuna's perfect vessel or maybe his old body now given free will. There's obviously no confirmation but it's my best thought

I just watched all 6 episodes just now Is the animation a bit rushed? When Yuuji died it didn't have that big of an impact on his teammates Is this because they were just together for 2 weeks or the pacing is a bit too quick?

Sukuna is a very interesting villain because he doesn’t really seem to want to sabotage yuuji, seeing as he could’ve just ran away or killed any of the others during the battle.
