The 250m spent was not for Tuchel, it was for the squad, I dont get why people say that, every transfer makes sense no matter who the manager is Koulibaly replaced Rudiger - makes sense Fofana replaced Christensen - makes sense Cucurella replaced Alonso - makes sense Sterling replaced Werner - makes sense Aubamayang replaced Lukaku - makes sense Zakaria & Chukwamenka replaced Barkley & Saul - makes sense
@Mark-uh3un2 жыл бұрын
Agree with you on everything except Aubameyang. They could’ve signed a multitude of better players but only went for him because of his personal relationship with Tuchel. Also getting rid of Gilmour on a permanent deal rather than a loan was probably a mistake
@Patrick-mn7bg2 жыл бұрын
1. Koulibaly, good but old, overspending 2. Fofana insane overspending 3.Cucurella full on insanity, massive massive overspending 4. Auba too expensive 5. The rest is good. Then you fire your coach and buy a current EPL coach! It’s like Chelsea are trying to burn money!

@@Mark-uh3un for a transfer deadline day signing, auba is actually very good and would suit any manager. One thing I like about Todd is if a player wants to leave, he wont force them to stay. Lukaku, Werner gone. Plus we already signed Chukwamenka, Casadei and Zakaria on loan to be the backups for Kante\Kovacic\Jorginho\Loftus Cheek\Mount\Gallagher. Gilmour has been living off the hype from that liverpool game for 2 years, still needs to prove himself, he doesnt have a great chance against all those players now, its better he goes, then maybe comes back when he 26-27

We’re behind Potter all the way now as we look back on Tuchel’s time: he was one of one. We built an incredible connection with him as we travelled up and down the country, and across Europe supporting this team. Super Tommy Tuchel will forever be a club legend. The PR spin has been strong, but he deserved better than the cold statement the club released; more has been written in the departure messages of fringe players. It’s not just the trophies but also how he represented us during the sanctions; a spokesperson when he shouldn’t have been. Doesn’t feel like a goodbye, but until then most of us wish him and his staff happiness and success at their next post. UTC

Yes he did win the CL but the team has been underperforming since real Madrid’s home game and might be before that even, we dropped so many points in the second half of last season, so much so that arsenal and Tottenham caught up to us. Not developing players like CHO and gilmour was an issue too. I hope potter does well at chelsea he’s far more capable than TT is in managing the club
