I do respect priests like Fr. Dave, but this video wasn't well made. In this 2 minute video, the priest spoke about God not being safe, but still good. I don't understand exactly what this means. Why do Catholics settle for sub-standard preaching? Priests should love to preach with all their hearts. Father Mike Schmitz spoke about this same passage from CS Lewis, and he gave a beautiful Sunday homily about the fear of God. Catholic priests really need to put more work into their preaching.

Thank you, Fr. Dave. My friends and I have a greeting and a response that we frequently use, "God is Good" ......... "All the time." Even in my most difficult times, He is there.
