So many people I know just in my small part of Somerset are falling ill with heart related issues, autoimmune issues, clots, the list goes on and on, and these are not old people 40/45, so I feel any “study” that comes out atm is to explain away these sudden symptoms alot of people are having. What did 90% of the population take a couple years ago, could that be a contributor??

Absolutely 💯

The illness itself also causes these problems. We are caught between a rock and a hard place!

Great work Liz. Thanks for bringing this to light. I a big believer in not just reading the headlines! The ‘news’, AND the majority of the medical journals for that matter, are compromised by big pharma/big food agenda. The first place I always look is at the bottom of the study where it says ‘competing interests’. That gives you your first clue as to who might be funding the piece of work. I’ve had the same success with IF for the last 8 years as you have. I’ll never go back. Stable weight, less fatigue, less hormonal problems. I breezed through the menopause suffering virtually none of the issues most of my friends had. I follow avidly the Zoe project, that’s real true groundbreaking science direct to public at our fingertips. I’m a big fan!

I don't buy newspapers, or watch the news, (taploid news) except newsnight on BBC 1, I like to listen to proper news, honest news, Having said that, I always try to be sensible, listen to my body, I don't eat a meal everyday, (every other day), the day I don't eat, I will have bits like carrot or raw vegetables, just enough to keep me well, It also depends on our bodies, we are all different, we are unique, so put that in mind, don't listen to everything you read, unless it is something sensible and honest, Thankyou Liz for your video, God bless 😊

I used to feel hungry all the times. This is when our blood sugars fall fast due to insulin pushing the blood sugar down. Once I eat more meats and cut out the sugars, carbohydrate, and seeds oil. Now when I need tobeat, I just feel a hint of hunger. Actually not eating breakfast is the best. Or eating meats and eggs in the morning, as next best

I was worried about this study- my dna says im a higher risk for cardiovascular problems. I do intermittent fasting but not fixed. Thank you for debunking this. I also agree that cereal manufacturers generally are probably losing out. No one in my family eats cereal anymore,

We would not have eaten every minute of every day, and we definitely would not have 8 snacks a day..we would have fasted and feasted..and we survived..this sounds like FDA rubbish.

Thank you Liz for providing the evidence based information regarding this nonsense headline news about intermittent fasting . I was waiting for your views on it , as i very much suspected you would want to set the record straight 🙌🏼🙌🏼. When I first heard the headlines , I was instantly suspicious 🤣😂, I suspected an ulterior motive was the reason this incorrect information was being portrayed through the media platforms. I too researched where this study had come from , and it actually made me laugh that it could even make the news 🤷🏻♀️. The evidence based research surrounding time restrictive eating , and it having so many health and well being benefits for so very many people , including myself , and increasing in popularity , is not a good thing for profiting companies and certain institutions that benefit from people being sick and not well , would all have i am sure been supporting this latest so called information. Thank you for providing the facts , so that people can go on to make up their own minds about what choices they make for their own wellbeing, despite nonsense headlines like these trying to derail people for no doubt their own personal interests.

I actually haven't seen it and I tend not to react to stories like those anyway as I think it's just sensationalism. I do the 16:8 usually five days out of seven each week. When I first started doing it at the beginning of last year, I did it religiously seven days a week, however unlike so many other people, I actually didn't find it particularly beneficial. I didn't lose any weight, I didn't feel any different etc. etc. The other reason is that when I do eat breakfast, it is generally berries (usually blueberries) and Greek yoghurt or maybe some oat bran made into porridge with milk and then I add my berries, seeds, protein powder and some kefir. I find when I don't eat breakfast, I don't get the benefit of all these good things. I literally just eat lunch and dinner as I'm not really one for snacking.
