This subject was most needed to be discussed, especially at this time... And as always, Cameron has explained very well .. touching some of key factors and good analysis from his experience ... in short, it has cleared many doubts ... Well done! Cameron, Alattin and Team PT 👍🏻 Would you mind sharing outcomes of the Central Bank’s decision that was supposed to happen on the 20th? Did the interest rate increase? How much?
@user-ov2tm2un1r4 жыл бұрын
Fahad Sayed Thanks for the feedback. At this point interest rates are steady. You can read the article at the link. www.aa.com.tr/en/economy/turkey-central-bank-keeps-interest-rates-steady/1947951

Good Job Alladin and Cameron, good prediction re rates, one thing although the Turkish Government has the capabilities to push policy in this area for energy innovation, its a long way off, to compensate for fossil in any meaningful way. Current Geophysical announcements re, the seismic vessel MV Oruc Reis exploration, any discovery, re test drills, production, up stream, to usable resources, a lot longer than 5 years...great job guys, although youre selling your services, you go out of your way with to provide insightful, interesting commentary and content.....looking fwd to finishing my immigration ban, do things properly nx time around and once again enjoy my Besh Lire Chorba and chi, breakfast in my Cok Guzel Kadakoy back street tool area...

Ahmad Damerli listen to what the man wrote. He said he bought the house 7 years ago and now it’s half the price he payed for. In first world countries house values increase each year but he instead lost 50% of what he payed for. The value of houses in Sydney, Australia rises 6.8% up to 10% each year. If you want to get rich in Real Estate stay away from Turkey and buy where the Chinese buy. Australia , Canada, USA, New Zealand.
@user-ov2tm2un1r4 жыл бұрын
stay tuned we will talk about that in our next episode 😉

@@123DOWNUNDER890 Your Australia , Canada, USA, New Zealand are fast becoming the worst shit holes in the world thanks to Chinese and Indian migration. CoViD-19 has all but made sure that will be a certainty. You are way behind the curve, mate !!!

A logical question When u say bank rates will increase near future, then people will hold money in a bank and get good profit rather than buying property. Buying option is better at low interest rates I guess What do u think about it ?
@user-ov2tm2un1r4 жыл бұрын
Mehboob Khan Thanks for the feedback. If interest rates go up and exceed the current inflation rate people will likely to keep the money in the bank instead of investing into real estate. This may cause a relatively slower domestic market therefore a slower appreciation of real estate prices caused a domestic demand shortage. This would mean more opportunities for foreign buyers to come in with cash and carve good deals. However, the effect of it will depend on the rate of increase of the interest rates and the domestic home buyer’s reaction to it.

Sir, do yourself and your audience a favor and refrain from opinions on subjects you may not well understand. Your financial analysis is good and your points well made, but your dipping into judgements over the right of Turkey to drill in areas the Law of the Sea clearly defines as Greece's and Cyprus's territorial waters is, at a minimum, misguided. And, yes, the spectrum of EU sanctions, thanks exclusively to Germany, may not be presently realistic, however it is very much alive in case Turkey provokes a conflict with one (or more) EU members. And please dont think of sanctions as an EU affair only. The Uncle from across the Atlantic is way more sanction-trigger happy, and his can be way more devastating than those of the EU.
