I'm so glad that I finally found a decent and very informative channel on KZbin, it was really a straight talk, I'm looking forward to visit , buy property and gain Turkish citizenship in September, being scared of all those scams that I have heard from different sources, it's been quite some time doing my research to find the right people for the right job , would like to know more about you and hoping you are those right people ... cheers..

My friend bought a flat in Istanbul 4 years ago for $80000 due to weak lira he could not sell it for $35000 at the moment . No stability in Turkey unfortunately . Another problem is a new house is more than twice expensive than 10 years old house .
@user-ov2tm2un1r4 жыл бұрын
Well, if in 5 years your property has lost more than half of it’s value that means that you don’t know what you’re doing in Turkey. The Turkish lira has been deprecating since the establishment of the republic. When you’re making an investment in Turkey, depreciation and inflation are two fundamental things you need to take into consideration. If you know what you’re doing you can see that this instability is actually presenting new opportunities all around the economy. Yes, in Turkey risk is high. But the reward is also high. Unfortunately your friend has played it wrong. And plus do not come to conclusion as “No stability in Turkey” without understanding how that instability is the standard in the way we do things.

1. You mentioned there a quite a few central locations that have not yet gone up in price, what are your top 5 to 10 you'd personally invest in? What is the average price in each location one could buy a 2+1/3+1 flat that's move-in ready? Reno needed? 2. What are the biggest real estate websites in Turkey to search for properties as a local? (I found and have been using emlakjet) 3. Does Istanbul have a multiple listing service where agents post all of their properties for sale and any other agent can sell their properties? 4. I was recently turned onto Istanbul as a great investment for a world-class City, one of the last you could find $1,000 per square flats in central districts. My searching has uncovered many such, is this also your understanding? 5. This is a question I should have started off with. I see apartments that are 200 square metres, is that actual square meters of the apartment or does that include a percentage of all the common areas and the balcony/garden, etc... (I saw someone else saying the square meters can be wildly different than what is actually there)

I'm currently saving up to buy an apartment in Turkey and gain Citizenship. Please give me an estimated time, how many years more will turkey continue with citizenship by investment program?
@user-ov2tm2un1r4 жыл бұрын
Tanishq Mirza Thanks for reaching out. Regarding the span of the citizenship by investment program, there is not an official figure provided by the authorities. It would be speculation if we were to give you a certain figure. However, considering that it is the project of the current government which is due to stay in the office untill 2023 and If we take into consideration the country’s need for Foreign Direct Investment, it’s likely to stay at least a few more years. Again, this is just our projection. We can not guarantee that it’ll stay that way...

Thanks for your question. As you know Turkey is a predominantly muslim country. And the Turkish culture is very hospitable and welcoming. This means any type of lifestyle is appreciated in every part of the country. Istanbul as well as Bursa and even the south cost of Turkey is able to provide you the basic fundamentals to live the lifestyle you are looking for.
