I've ordered a few times from Romwe and here are my tips! 1. Even though it's a hassle, measure yourself because the s, m, l are not the same across the board on their products and use that to pick your size. 2. Look at the material that is specifies. Almost all the crappy clothing is polyester (lots of see through stuff that doesn't fit well). My favorites from there are cotton or cotton blend so look for that! ( And denim, and some rayon items but rayon can get really messed up in the wash so be warned) 3. Expect for only half of what you get to work 😬 4. Shein is a related brand and they have reviews on many items and photos from the users so check out that site! 5.They do take returns SO to return just 'create a ticket' with them and follow the steps. They have been good each time I've returned items.

My favorites are two pairs of ripped boyfriend jeans (make sure you measure yourself and look for ones that say 'no stretch' in the description!-they're just regular old school jeans and really flattering), crochet kimonos and a few tops that I love. Yeah, I've returned a lot of stuff but I LOVE the things that did work out :)

I've noticed that chiffon, velvet and denim (jackets, not jeans) are always great. I don't really prefer the styles they use cotton for, like colorful t-shirts with logos, so I've only bought cotton once and it wasn't good (probably because it was really cheap). Knits weren't good either.

Romwe has some really good things and then some really bad things. Some of the quality of their fabrics is horrible, like really itchy and ruined after a few wash. But then there are some stuff that I've had forever, love, and wear often. So it's really hit or miss I guess.

The Neko Next Door if you have wider hips or are on the taller side then don't get any Jean pants because no matter if you go a size up from you're normal size(or even higher) it still won't fit. It's like they are child sizes or most likely Asian sizes. I mostly stick to getting cute shirts that I like, a few skirts (that I always get a large or XL in because the sizes are so crazy) and accessories.

What I have heard is that whenever you see a photo with a model in it on one of these sites, if her head is not fully pictured, chances are the photo is stolen from the original brand that designed the garment, and the Chinese wholesaler is selling a cheap knockoff. If you know how to do a reverse image search on Google, you can often find the brand that originally designed the item. Also, so many of these wholesalers are actually different fronts for the exact same Chinese company. SheIn is the same as Sheinside, and that site, Rosegal, Romwe, etc. all sell the same knockoffs. It's a huge scam.

Churumbelita You make an excellent observation. I bought from Romwe a year ago and I was SHOCKED some of the pieces I received looked totally different than what I ordered. Different material, different color, and their return policy makes it where you pretty much can't return it. It was horrible.

forever lace the clothes came in like a week or two but the clothes are super cute and totally worth it. Before you purchase something, make sure that you read the "details" sections so you know what the item is made of. Also, make sure that you make sure that you use a tape measure to measure ur body so the clothes will fit you well, and remember that the clothes are from china.

So basically all this stuff is made in sweatshops (most likely), and it's most likely made on "third shifts". I'm an apparel merchandising and supply chain major. So most likely, they make the items that in the pictures for other companies, and then produce a lower quality garment for these companies during 3rd shifts. Or they just completely knock other people off, use the picture (which is illegal), and sell you some bogus stuff. Fast fashion contributes so highly to our environmental issues, just we aren't as aware of it as fuel emissions, water pollution, etc. I mean, obviously, as a broke college student, I still have to buy fast fashion, but people just need to be aware of what they're buying and who it affects.

From personal experience with this website I say it's not worth it. First the sizing is wrong, I ordered a large because I wanted something baggy and it fit like a small. Second sometimes the material is very weird like they will use that weird stretchy material for things that shouldn't be made with that etc. Finally sometimes the stuff looks like I could have made it. I ordered a lot of clothes and only ended up keeping 1 of the shirts. Don't take the risk and just go to a good site you can trust.

The thing about sizing is that it's not wrong, you have to check the measurements. If you follow the measurements you'll get something that'll fit your preferences. If you don't it'll end up being a trial and error process every time.

romwe and the like are all Chinese sites that take designs and sometimes model pictures straight from places like asos.com and topshop and "recreate" them with cheap material and shoddy stitching. it's definitely a gamble to give them your money and if you ever want your money back, my condolences.

I was basically going to say this - that's where the "too good to be true" part comes in. It's not a scam, but the stuff is cheap because it probably isn't made ethically, environmentally friendly, or with quality materials. And I hate to say it but this applies to stores like Forever 21 and other fast fashion stores here too! Totally encourage people to look into where and how their clothes are being made, it's a big eye opener and you might even change your ways because of it.

So I ordered this hoodie, sweatshirt and a t-shirt crop top from Romwe. The hoodie and the sweatshirt was only 'one size' and I checked the measurements and I guess the length of what it said fits me. I ordered a large t-shirt just to make sure that it would fit. Considering most people said that the sizing was off, and it would be a bit smaller than the average size, I wasn't sure if I would buy it. It's sad that so many people forget that the value/cost of clothing goes beyond price/fit/material. When you buy clothing this cheap, you have to realize that this company is only doing it because they are managing to turn a profit and in order to do so they have to pass the cost of keeping the clothing below 20$ to the manufacturers who pass in on to worker in the form of not paying them a living wage/unsafe working conditions/inhumane treatment. As someone in a position of influence, it would be really great to learn more about the true cost of clothing and pass it on to your viewers, so that one day we can live in a more equitable world where everyone is treated fairly for the work they do. (Also most garment workers are female and often treated especially unfavourably because of this - receiving no maternity leave, no health care, abused by male factory owners, etc)

Obviously, no matter what brand you're buying it's important to research their CSR and sourcing policies whenever possible, and ask brands for this information (as it's often not easily available). :)

I think these are easier for the youtubers to film and edit with. You don't have to worry about it focusing on something other than yourself. You can also change the saturation or lightness better because this way it doesn't alter anything in the background. Plus they don't have to clean up they're rooms or houses. They can just film!:)

I bought a couple things from Romwe before and I'll never purchase again. First was a hooded jumper in XL because I like really baggy jumpers to snuggle into and I wanted to be safer than sorry with sizes, but I can barely wear it because it's so tiny.. it even has an XL size tag inside. 🙄 the next was two skirts one was supposed to be flowy and pale pink but it's just a weird off beige net material, it's awful and scratchy. The other skirt is VERY short I wouldn't even wear it with shorts underneath and I'm a short person😂 I say #scam!

Yep youll notice the majority of their photos are ripped and stolen from other sites which is why they cropped their heads off, so what your actually getting is a knock off.

I believe the One Size sizing is tailored to fit female asian physiques, because they're most likely from asian suppliers. While all their bodies do vary to a degree, many many of them would fit the One Size clothing fine. While you may or may not be aware of this, it can seem a bit rude to say how those One Size pieces wouldn't be able to fit any person or even a 'human' ? Because they are made with their main audience's physiques in mind, small and petite ladies.

Personally, I've shopped from Sheinside (now SheIn), Romwe and Choies; read the measurements and ordered accordingly so everything fits me fine. Apart from a few exceptions (two shirts and a dress, the shirts were really cheaply made and one didn't fit, the dress wasn't really what was shown in the picture), I got exactly what I expected so I'm pretty pleased, TBH.

I ordered some clothes from Romwe a few months back and they took forever to arrive. Also, a couple of my t-shirts had loose, messy stitching which was a red flag. They looked like they had been rushed and just overall messy. Then, I ordered some jeans and I made sure that I checked the sizes over and over to make sure that I had ordered the correct size and yet the jeans were tiny on me and one of the buttons was broken and loose which was disappointing. So basically, I waited weeks for these clothes to come and when they arrived the quality and sizes were terrible.

Romwe uses photos off of other clothing sites and the clothes are all made in China just like Aliexpress. They try to mimic the clothing item and almost never get it 100% but the photos are of the original products from actual clothing stores and not the look alikes they produce and ship out!

Tina Meeks some things are great! Some things arent! Just really pay attention to the reviews and really go through them.. And always avoid the things with barely any reviews. You can get lucky with some things! I don't buy clothing but I have bought sunglasses for a dollar and they're awesome! She said she was quite tall so she's probably a S/M. Regardless, these clothes aren't really made for Western girls as an average Asian girl is an XS/XXS in western sizing, but an M in Asian sizing. You'll probably want to go up two sizes or three sizes to be safe.

Those websites are Asian. Their sizes run smaller. I am an XL/2XL and have to order 5XL which can still sometimes be too small depending on the seller or item type. A 5XL tank top I have fits normal, but the baby doll nighty is 5XL and I could fit another half of me in there and still have it sit baggy.

What's unhealthy is Asia sizing so ridiculously small that someone who is a size 4 in America still needs to buy a size 12 in Asia to fit. It took eight days for my clothes to get to me but I mean I am in NY and it's based in China so I wasn't super upset about it. However, the material feels cheap and the clothes don't look like what they did in the pictures. Overall, I'm no really happy with the clothes that I got.

I love everything I get from romwe. You have to look at reviews and pay attention to sizing charts. I will agree some things are no as expected to be, but that’s why I look at reviews and not just buy things straight away. It’s definitely not a scam but you do have to pay attention to the reviews and be careful

I've used Romwe twice for two big orders (~$150) and honestly, I love this site. You just have to be smart about what you order. First of all, this is an Asian website. Your order comes from China, so it will take a week or so to arrive. The website's sizes run small, so I always order a size up after I read the sizing chart. I've ordered multiple rompers, dresses, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and they have all been awesome/ looked just like the photo. However, the things I have been disappointed in are maxi items and items with heavy prints. I'm 5'7, I'm taller than the average woman. I would say that their maxi items are definitely made for the average woman. My maxi dress stopped at my ankles and looked silly. I stay away from heavily printed items because I just know they'll not come looking like the photo. I also would not order jeans from here just because it is hard buying jeans online anyways, that is really an in-store purchase unless you know the store and what size fits you. Overall, some of my favorite pieces are from here. Especially shoes, sunglasses, and jewelry. Yes, some of it will feel cheap, but you're paying cheap prices. Just don't expect Chanel when you're paying Wal-Mart.
