You guys have been a Godsend! Broke my shoulder 4-1/2 years ago doing superman over bicycle handlebars. Broke large hunk off the ball and large fracture running down the arm. Doctor chose not to do surgery. Shoulder was immobile for several months to aid healing, but this left my shoulder frozen. Took me a couple years of working on my shoulder every day, but got most of my motion back, including touching my shoulder blades and doing pull-ups. I attribute my recovery to the shoulder exercises I found on your channel and books purchased from your store, especially the one from Dr John Kirsch about hanging from bar. I progressed from hanging to assisted-pullups until I reached full bodyweight. The stick exercises were also great, like "Statue of Liberty" and "Chicken Wing". Thanks again!

For a few months I have felt pain in my right shoulder, which seemed to get worse and worse and prevented me from making certain movements with my arm. Yesterday I saw one of your videos and it seemed to me that it could be due to the way I sleep when I am on the right side, because when I lie on that side, the pain soon appears and I even find it difficult to sleep, because I cannot find a position comfortable. Tonight I tried a piece of advice you gave: sleep with a second pillow, it is under the ribs, so that the shoulder receives less weight. The result has been great. I have been able to sleep much better and now, once I get up, it seems that it hurts less than in recent days. I will continue to apply this advice and the exercises you recommend. I was beginning to be frankly worried, wondering if it was osteoarthritis or some kind of age-related ailment (I am 61 years old). I have subscribed to your channel, it is the least I can do to thank you.

One of the things that helps me most, you didn't show today. The elephant trunk hang and rock. When I do this it cracks and pops, and seems to settle everything into place. The shoulder works well for some time, and eventually, I have to do it again. It give me good range of motion while I work on the other exercises. Thanks for helping me get it working again.

Bob and Brad , have yall ever thought about updating your mic setup ? i have watched so many of your videos over the years and it always drives me crazy that whatever the mic setup you have , distorts your voice and makes it sound like its coming out of a cheap PA speaker. I do believe the reason for this is that the type of head sets you are using are designed to be used in large auditorium and for lectures .
@NatesRandomVideo2 жыл бұрын
They sound fine here on both cheap speakers and through an expensive stereo setup. Your speakers may have a resonance in the frequency bands on one of their voices. Their audio looks reasonably EQed and correct levels on monitoring gear also.
@BrandonMitchell842 жыл бұрын
@@NatesRandomVideo well in all respect , "fine" is not "great" or "excellent" , I think with the amount of subs they have , it would be nice to hear their voices in the natural way . I know for a fact those headsets they have , are not meant for this type of setup which is why you don't see any youtubers using them ...not trying to argue , just facts .

Great job guys,I am from Australia, have learned so much since watching your videos, unfortunately I didn't get to you in time, I have a question I developed a frozen shoulder following surgery, have also noticed that when I sleep on my back I get a pressure point pain on my elbow is it possible the rotator cuff repair has moved the alignment of my shoulder? I noticed this the same day of surgery & it doesn't seem to go away. Is it going to be a permanent thing, it's now 5 months post surgery I am neither resolving the frozen shoulder nor is the pressure on the elbow going away.i have come to the stage where passively lying down my arm goes over my head but actively standing I can only raise my hand with difficulty to my shoulder, Is it a good idea to have a manipulation under anaesthesia?

My shoulders pop out.. Absolutely the most horrendous pain when it happens. It only happens rarely, for I’m very careful with what I do with my arms..But I slipped on a curb the other day in town and fell over, I had to throw my arms out to stop the fall and my left shoulder popped out..I lent up against a pole and pushed it back in.. Then to my horror 30 minutes later it popped out again just by reaching for something to my left.. couldn’t get the mongrel back in, first time I’ve not been able to do it, so a mate had to take me to the hospital..I know I need surgery, but it’s a long long healing process.
