Is it Dangerous To Eat Pure DNA? Extracting and Eating Pure DNA

In this video I show you how to extract DNA! Then I eat it just to see what it tastes like! I take the DNA out of strawberries, kiwis and even shrimp! This is an amazing experiment that you could do in your own home with simple ingredients. I talk about why the reaction happens and then finally eat all of the DNA at the end!

When/if I have kids… I will do ALLLL these little experiments with them! I mean.. not only do IIIII find this too cool and absolutely fascinating but they’re great for teaching kids with a hands on experience! My dads a teacher (an elementary school teacher but..) when he was in school for it (he went later in life so I was already like 10 or 11 at the time..) he would bring home experiments and whatnot like this from school and do them with me.. like making slime or bouncy balls among other things.. and I just thought it was SOOO FREAKING COOL!
