I love your advice videos. I am a person who is obsessive about being prepared in the audition room. What happens when you are given audition info that is not correct. I recently had an audition where a piece of music was included as an acceptable audition selection. When I got into the room prepared to knock it out of the park they told me I could NOT use the selection I had prepared because they did not have the rights to d it in the audition. it is a public domain song which they paid to change for the show. They wanted a different selection from the musical which I was not prepared to do. I did request another audition because of the lack of communication by casting. Because I sang a personal choice at the beginning of the audition which they felt was strong enough to stand on its own they told me I did not have to have another audition.
