7:26 - lilac plate under yellow stack mid shelf; 11:59 - Weller or Robinson Ransbottom jardiniere right behind pig thing. In smaller rarer more desirable hard to find shape… I was like “arrghh move your hand back move your hand back forget the pig!!!!😱”

Medium green is the rarest Fiestaware color, but what you really want to look for are the covered onion soup bowl or the 12” compartment plate - those are very rare & very valuable!

The hutch is beautiful and looks really nice with all the other nice things. A few years ago we bought a hutch from a couple. They were moving and getting rid of everything. They had like $ 195.00 on it and they took $125.00. And when we moved it we understood why. This thing is massive! Like 7 foot tall and 5 foot wide, maybe more, and it comes in two pieces, but, it weighs a ton. It's got beveled and etched glass and think glass shelves and it's gorgeous. It took my son and Grandson, who are both big strong guys to muscle it into place. At which time my son looked at me and said, " If you ever sell the house, this hutch is staying with it." lol He is serious. This thing is heavier than any other I've seen. But no matter the size or weight of furniture, if you love it, you will buy it and find a way!

I know what you mean! Three of my friends and I went to see a hutch for sale. One friend bought it. We were all little old ladies. As we were discussing how to move it, a neighbor of the seller stopped by. He offered himself and his teen sons to help us. We gratefully accepted. However, after their struggle to finally load it, the man's mood changed. He and the boys weren't up for chitchat. They just went straight home to rest. Those pieces of furniture are HEAVY!

I think that's Tammy's Mid Century Booth with the kitchen set. Her Dad restores all the Chrome. We bought our 40s enamel top table with chrome hairpin legs from her. She has a great eye, for vintage, MCM & Kitsch. Hope you get to meet her some time when you visit.

Not trolling or anything, but when I first started watching C.L.L. vids, Andrew always seemed gregarious and jovial. He was always cracking jokes and laughing and making others laugh - particularly Jocelyn (sp?). The past 6 months (or maybe longer) he just seems so quiet. - Like he's quietly frustrated or angry or unhappy or depressed?.... No judgment- it's just seemed that way in vid after vid for so long now. - Very disconcerting. However, I know things aren't always as they seem. - Really hope I'm wrong and that the whole family is happy. I genuinely like these people and wish them well!!

05:02 May be that it was a design flaw, and the neck is the place where they always broke. 09:10 Wouldn't mind having that railroad lantern, but all the lamps look to be flat-wick. (The home-made cabbage mandoline is a Thing, too.) 16:20 I would be sooooooooo tempted to try taking epoxy to that fin.

I told Andrew it could probably be fixed. Maybe we’ll try that. Thanks, Sam!
@sebastianreeves68013 жыл бұрын
@@CrazyLampLady Usually taxidermists use contact cement & a heat gun or superglue gel for fin repairs - they use the gel because it doesn’t run like regular superglue. Just be sure not to put too much glue on or let it run onto the paint/body of the fish & all should be well. ♥️
