Right answer ✅️. He said do not help oppressor , whether Muslim or not Muslim.

I understand voluntarily choosing not to work in a company from a country that engages in war/oppression against Muslims, but the blanket prohibition or advice to not work in ANY company from these countries, regardless of the nature of the products and services, regardless of how direct or indirect the perceived "support" for the government is, just because of some indirect support to the government via taxes, seems like an extreme position that I have never heard any sheikhs of Ahlus Sunnah that I follow say. Does this mean: 1. Working for an Indian company is not allowed because the Indian government oppresses Muslims (despite hundreds of millions of Muslims needing to work in India)?! 2. Working for a company from any NATO country (including Turkiye!) was not allowed during their invasion of Libya or any other military operation in a Muslim country?! 3. Working for any American company was not allowed during their invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan (which lasted decades)?! 4. Working for an Israeli company even if you are a Muslim citizen or resident of Israel (which there are many)?! 5. And by mentioning both Muslims and non Muslims, is the Sheikh also talking about not working for companies based in Muslim countries where the government "oppresses" Muslims, like banning hijab in certain places? How vague and unclear are these criteria?! I have read fatwas about prohibiting working in the US military as a medic, or dealing in weapons with countries at war with Islam, but the prohibition of working for ANY company from a country that oppresses Muslims regardless of its nature, I have never heard of this... Do you know how many countless international companies from the West that people would be banned from working in with this super vague criteria that the Sheikh mentioned? How many hundreds of millions of people would be involved? This is the same Sheikh that said we shouldn't eat fastfood at all because it is unhealthy, despite the fact that whether it is unhealthy or not depends totally on how often and how much you eat it (and this prohibition would also involve fatty foods from Muslim cuisines which are high in the same kinds of fats that fastfood is high in), and because his wife showed him a documentary about how animals are slaughtered in the western fastfood industry, despite the fact that it has nothing to do with how animals are slaughtered in Muslim countries

from islamqa: Should we say to someone who sells mobile phones and other communications technology: it is not permissible for you to sell them, because some people are going to use them for haraam purposes? Should we say to shopkeepers: do not sell women’s clothing, because some women will wear it in ways that are prohibited? Indeed, should we say to someone who sells food that some people will buy it with haraam wealth, or will eat it in order to have the energy to commit sin?! Similar things may be said about working in the manufacture of printers, cars and computers, and making other things that are not free of being used in haraam ways. Islam does not demand this of people, so long as the work is permissible in principle; whoever uses the product of that work for haraam purposes is the one who bears responsibility for his deed. What we advise you to do is to look for work that is appropriate for you in permissible fields of work, of which there are many, praise be to Allah. All you have to do is avoid two types of work: 1. Work that is haraam in and of itself, such as working in pubs, dance clubs, riba-based banks, selling alcohol and pork, and other things that are prohibited in Islamic teaching 2. Work that helps in doing haraam things, on condition that this is helping in a direct sense, such as serving alcohol to those who drink it, or writing down riba-based contracts, taking part in building a church, and so on, which are actions that are direct precursors to doing haraam things. But if the work may help in doing haraam things in an indirect manner, or it is the matter of mere speculation and possibility, then that does not make the job haraam, especially if a person is not intending to do something haraam in his work - otherwise every job that a person could do could possibly lead, indirectly, to helping in something haraam. May Allah make things easy for you, grant you abundant provision from wholesome sources, and guide you to His straight path. And Allah knows best.

I’m not being funny but it seems your looking for any excuse not to engage in the boycott. Yes I agree some people take it too extreme but the prophet saw done this himself against the quraysh chiefs. He told us if we see evil stop it with our hands, if we can’t do that stop it with our mouths, if we can’t do that we must really dislike it in our hearts. So what if we must downgrade the quality of our lives for a while, when there are literally kids being slaughtered every day. Don’t think Allah won’t see your efforts and you won’t be rewarded. What’s a small sacrifice compared to what’s happening around the world. I think you’ve gone too much extreme to the other side like selling mobile phones ect. But yes absolutely working in a haram or shop that sells haram things (alcohol) is absolutely prohibited and you cannot feed your family with this money as it’s haram. It seems you have little understanding and knowledge so please don’t just listen to one sheikh, do your own research read the Quran and sunnah and you will find the truth. May Allah guide you

@@protechdude2163 Trying to win an argument with a long list of words that have nothing to do with the discussion is the usual tactics of liberals. I'm glad you recognize that you don't have the intelligence to support your argument concerning what is going on today, so I would suggest you continue your simple-minded style of argument with other simple-minded people and don't try it here. If you were able to offer a legitimate argument with legitimate facts, I think anyone would be happy to have a discussion with you and have their mind changed. But you'll have to work on it. I can tell by your redirection and non-sequitur that your abilities are woefully inadequate. I will not even attempt to continue to argue my point about the original subject, because you'd have to be smart enough to understand it. I suggest that if you want to continue making arguments, go online and look up master list of logical fallacies. This will make your arguments much more powerful, and hopefully, make your intellectual tools much stronger.
