That's not the point, he could be using a steering wheel and it would be cheating, it's not about using a controller, it's about binding a cursor movement to a button, which if you just memorize the number, you can just click that amount of times and you have a basically 100% success rate. Sure, night 4 is humanly impossible using the mouse, but night 5 is just the same thing as night 3, but enhanced, still humanly possible if you have some dedication. So yeah, using a button corder of any sort for night 5 is cheating.

For night 4 you could actually use the instant teleport feature as a way to recover from a missed input. Since you always go to the top left corner of the screen when using it. You can set R3 to the teleport and then set the left trigger to move from the top left to springlock 1. When you stop hearing the springlock clicks you can quickly press those 2 buttons and get another chance at the attempt

45:52 Theres another option on the steam controller stetup that lets you map a button to toggle other buttons, like ctrl alt del or alt f4, but whatever outcome you can program the controller with. I think I know why "move to position" doesn't work. The cursor in-game is a different cursor, not your actual one. Maybe it works similar to how cursor lock works in FPS games. It hides your actual cursor and locks it to the center, but it also moves a separate cursor based on the raw input coming from your actual mouse. Maybe it detects the movement in "move by amount" as raw input, but "move to position" as no raw input so it glitches

Since you asked at the end of the video, I would like a FNaF World challenge eventually. As for the challenge, well… (wait hold on a sec) So, Spiff did a nuzlocke, a hard mode, AND a limited fights challenge, David Baron beat the game with just the first 8 characters (thus kickstarting the FNaF World Simulator timeline), and someone even beat the game with just Afton. Okay, so what if you beat the game with no chips, bytes, or leveling. Edit your save after every battle so that everyone is level 1. Start from a clean file, so you have to unlock characters. If you want, you can use the shortcut to the Halloween Update Backstage to get those characters (not for using, but just for the fan), alongside the pearl and the titanium endoskeleton, but other than that, level 1, no chips, no bytes

43:00 it would be easier to have a binding that resets the cursor to the top left and then have the mouse movements be from that specific position. That way, even if you forget where you were, you could always reset your position and keep going rather than being f*cked 😅
