Short answer to the question from the title of the video: No. You can't beat Kirby's Return to Dream Land as a PACIFIST. You need to kill at at least 58 enemies.

I've attempted this challenge with the exact rules (except for the super enemies) and I wanted to add a few things. 1. HOW DID YOU KILL NO ENEMIES IN 3-2!?!? I thought it was impossible because of the two things that shoot fireballs that conveniently block the path. 2. it is possible to not kill the enemies that block the door, however you have to be precise about it. 3. In 4-1, there was a secret route that you can take to get a energy sphere that you can ignore a good chunk of enemies (It's unclear if you took this route or not, since you didn't mention it or show any evidence that you did; but assuming the kill count you got in the level, it sounded like you took the route to get the energy sphere.

tip for next time: you should learn the names of the enemies on the kirby wiki. (it's a simple thing but it helps a lot)

Simply playing the game alongside with the health bar saying the name you would know that the ship is called the Lor Starcutter, and he still called it "some ship" so I'm pretty sure it's either on purpose or he simply didn't want to bother with names

You can skip the cannon by using Multiplayer!!! Have Yellow Kirby inhale the player 1 Kirby then spit him out! That will make him go through the cannon without triggering it! I saved a bunch of lives with this!

When you think about the kills from the cannon are not from Kirby but from the cannon it wasn't Kirby fault for example if your friend pushes you and your body kills another person is it you fault, no it's your friends fault.
