43:09 I'm trying to figure out what scenario would make a Beldum run impossible. The only way I can picture is saving among the E4, but it can't be because of PP because it only learns Take Down and PP shouldn't ever be a problem if it needs struggle, and Jrose wouldn't be so careless to waste his Elixirs or Leppa Berries. And then I remembered: There is a singular Liechi Berry that only appears in Mirage Island, and if you losing it is a big deal if you need it for more than 1 battle and used it without planting.

@@windhelmguard5295 although imo, grass knot is kinda a dumb move to have in a nuzlocke because not all pokemon it's super effective against are heavy. in fact, most water-types are fairly light, because, well, they're mostly fish
@windhelmguard52954 жыл бұрын
@@pixelation6224 i just did a quick check and that's essentially not true, only nine fully evolved water types (platinum and earlier) are so light that grass knot would have a power below 60 and out of those four are either double weak to grass or have garbage stats like luvdisc. fourteen pokemon fall into the 60 range, three of which are double weak to grass. also fourteen fall into the 80 range, two of which are double weak. there are six in both the 100 and the 120 range. also consider that the 120 and 100 ranges are where you find things like kyogre, lapras, gyarados or milotic, whereas the low damage ranges are populated largely by pokemon with garbage stats like luvdisc, there are some outliers like rotom wash, but i don't even think there is a tainer in the game who uses that. considering that energy ball only has 80 power in gen-4 and all the stronger special grass moves have huge drawbacks, i think grass knot is an extremely solid choice, because it doesn't just hit heavy rock and ground types, but also many steel types that are part rock or ground and really heavy, as well as the always annoying snorlax.
