A few minutes in and this is hilarious. The mispronunciation of Silloth and Keswick (I'm local) and the fact they're on cheap, ill-prepared and ill-suited bikes. Genius! I'm sure they could make longer episodes though! I was wondering only few days ago if/when they might upload again...

Excellent idea. My wife and I created our own F2F (Fishguard to Felixstowe) route which runs West East through our home. All minor roads, cycle routes etc.

I'm from a place of relative privilege myself but have lived on both sides of the bread line. The part where you commented on the "skanky" houses did rub me up the wrong way a little. It's one thing to say it subtly amongst mates, but to shout it loudly as you go past and then upload it to KZbin for the world to see isn't really on.

Totally agreed. I enjoy your content, but found the skanky house comment a tad offensive. Not everyone was born with a silver spoon in their mouth! I have just purchased my housing association house and it wasn't easy working hard for years saving as much as I could for a better life. Just a little thought for those less fortunate.

The irony is that I'm fairly sure that was Burton-in-Kendal or Milnthorpe (there's not many villages it could have been and they show a satellite image of Burton straight after) Both are pretty desirable villages - not necessarily loaded but far from the worst places in Cumbria let alone the country...

They said under 2500 meters deviation for platinum so I'd assume 2500 - 5000 for gold, 5000 - 7500 for silver and 7500 - 10000 for bronze

Slow down and tell a story. A 5K across line really gives you a lot of leeway and this does not feel like much of a challenge. Maybe narrow it down. It would also be interesting to have some challenges or competition in this format.

Lol, road bikes trying to do off-roading but it makes for good viewing 😅. A good mtn bike would be a better all rounder to use from roads to trails or a fat bike, you can average up to 35 km/hr or more depending on gearing and weight of bike and your fitness.
