BTW the Mew that could be transferred in the LG games from the PokeBall Plus can also be transferred into Sw/Sh if it hasn't already been transferred into a LG game. Meaning if you bought a new Poke Ball Plus you can transfer the Mew into Sw/Sh instead of the LG games. Not many people know this.

there's exp share that wouldn't be neccesary. just get one pokemon to lvl 100 and bulldoze the game. your chosen team will level up without doing anything for the rest of the game and will always be at a lvl relevant to the story in case you wanted a certain battle to not be a sweep for whatever reason

@@GodzillaGamerITA each pokemon has set EV points that they give and you can just faint those pokemon that you want to earn EV for and avoid those you don't want EV points for to not mess it up the EV spread. there also are vitamins that help boost EV points by i believe 10 or so, and certain poke jobs can also help, but yeah, EV training isn't really necessary for the main story.

To anyone excited to get ONLINE and do this, just know this is 2 consoles in a LOCAL session. A trainer without 8 badges cannot see a 5* raid over the internet. Also if you’re willing to do a second run on another console, switch languages(Spanish is super easy) so you can help the community get dittos for the Masuda method.

I went through on my first playthrough and just basically solo'd with Scorebunny line and with the always on exp share... by time I got to the last gym which is a double battle, I had my Cinderence at level 65 and everyone else at 55 only fighting trainers and if I happened to run into a pokemon in the wild and I didn't use exp candies... to the point I had to put my Cindernce in the PC so he wouldn't get anymore exp so I can make the game somewhat more fair... the games have been getting easier and anyone who says otherwise just want to be contrarian... I still go back and play gen 3/4/5 and without some grinding at certain parts even if you solo 1 pokemon, you can easily lose some of the fights... It is almost impossible to lose now even with bad type matchups Also Pyroball says it can burn... but in 30 hours of gameplay... I have yet to get a burn with it, is it bugged or something? used it like 500 times 0 burns at 10% it should of done it 50 times

I find it funny as hell to walk up to the champion with level 100 pokemon and sweep his entire team without ever getting hit not to mention this makes training pokemon so much easier as this way you can get a pokemon to level 100 without having it gain EV's from fighting wild pokemon

There is actually an easier way to do this, by doing Shedinja you’re significantly lowering the time it takes to finish the raid. It takes a few minutes for Ditto, but for Shedinja it only takes one hit. I feel if you had fought Shedinja instead you more than likely could have got level 100 in less than an hour. This is the fastest strategy to complete the game with ease to obtain the legendaries or rare pokeballs in my opinion.

This would be a great way to create a shinydex, with the pre-evolved starter as the only regular coloured mon, besides the other shiny locked legendary mons. If the shiny is the first one you catch/obtain of a pokemon, the dex entry will be the shiny form. this will let you get through the game to the point you can shiny hunt/transfer shinies from other games. Ultimate shiny challenge . Imagine getting the shiny charm only after having a complete shiny dex XD

Another useful method, Pokemon Home (transfer starter to existing profile and level it up to 100, transfer back to start of the game before the second Hop battle)

If you have the dlc, you can do max raid adventure and earn loads of dynamax ores, then give them to the lady for candies, its cheaper then buying a second switch and if you have online can be easier

I would do this but I want to evolve my Pokémon along with the adventure so it's not that boring because if I go into the first gym with a level 100 Corviknight I'd one shot everything and that would be boring.
