Found you by accident looking at stopping at Filey Brigg. Loved it, my sense of humour, you're a great double act and it all just comes naturally to you both. Well done, I shall look forward to discovering more of your vlogs.

Just found you and subbed. Good honest review of the site and it confirms one reason why we don't use sites any more. Not a part of Yorkshire that we know bit intend to remedy next year. Looking forward to catching up on your other videos. Thanks both.

The headland you pointed to is Carr Naze. Filey Brigg is the rocky outcrop at the bottom of Carr Naze & is only visible at low tide. You were initially walking on the Wolds Way. It transitions to the Cleveland way at the stone marker on Carr Naze.The entire caravan site doesn't get used in winter as the lower half gets bogged down with rain water. I walk my dog in the Country Park every day. If I stray over the edges of the caravan site, the stroppy management always moan at me , so I know they can be miserable. However, Filey is a great place for a peaceful holiday. Thanks for the video. It was fun.

Lovely site the staff that I’ve seen have all been polite and helpful . The location is beautiful the toilet blocks on car park and see front have been upgraded and are spotless. However the site toilets and shower blokes are dated and in need of modernisation. Looking forward to sit opening this year it such a great location an good bus routes to Scarborough Bridlington and Whitby makes for some good holidays and with good pubs just a walk away

It Definitely is in a lovely location. However it really does need updating. This like we said wouldn't stop us going for a weekend as we are self contained anyway. Enjoy your travels this year and thank you for watching 🥰

I love Darren's running commentary when he took over. He'll be doing Look North next. Bempton cliffs can be a good spot for the Northern lights. You do need to be careful of the werewolf when there's a full moon though. The vervain could have come in useful, it's used as a homeopathic remedy. Great for swelling and pain relief. So ideal for Toni's foot lol😂. Great footage and as always, very entertaining. Look forward to seeing the next one xx

Hi, I think you'd love it there when the tide is out,you can walk on the rocks all the way to the end (over half mile)Also if you like fish and chips then Inghams is the place to go !!
@campervancodgers12411 ай бұрын
Thank you for this we love Filey and when I was a little un I actually saw a sea horse in a rock pool. We need to go back when the tides out and look again 💗

We stayed there a few times and it used to be ok. Last time we went though they wouldn't let us on despite being 75% empty so we ended up riding round for 2 hours looking for somewhere to park for the night. Seems to be used by "travellers" of the less desirable variety as well.
@campervancodgers124 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching , we didn't notice any travellers and I don't understand why the council won't let the huge car park opposite be used for overnight by those fully self contained. Maybe they could use the extra funds created to update the actual site xc

Yes you can walk on filey brigg when the tide is out. I dont care what trip advisor says we love the campsite for the position. We were just up from your piitch nearer the shower block. It is what you make it. We liked that the carpark wasnt rammed at night .xxx it would anoy me if i had paid a proper fee and someone takes the mickey. We do filey alot. Either camping or rent a flat on the front. Probably cockles?wear your tacticle gloves when parking overnight when being naughty😂😂😂 xx perhaps a balaclava?😂😂❤ filey fish and chips. Definitely fair comment on showers they weren't like that when we came a few years ago. Thankyou for your warts and all account. We moved pitch from nearer reception as there was a big muddy hole it is quieter where you are. BUT ALL THAT SAID IF PEOPLE WANT TO RISK A 70.00 fine good luck to you. I live down south now so lots of places to explore in Hampshire and Dorset.
@campervancodgers124 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. We always check for no overnight parking signs and wouldn't risk it. But love the idea of wearing the tactical gloves and a balaclava if we are ever brave enough, which I doubt. 🤣 have a lovely Christmas 🎄 x

A bad mannered person should not define a site, we should all be very careful of what we say on line sometimes I find the person giving the opinion are the obnoxious ones
@campervancodgers1245 ай бұрын
The bad mannered person didn't define the site, she was just one of the few negatives we encountered on the site. Our opinion is shared by other people on Tripadvisor, however I doubt those people are as obnoxious as me but I'm trying to improve. Thanks, Darren.
