You can rather say “Forget” is the same as “remember” or “Forget” is like “remember” but you can’t use “same like” like that. Hope that helps!

Papa, I thinks the major difference between these terms is: i) to = it is frequently used to express some "requirement" or as "in order to", "an obligation related to the future or past"... II) ing = it describes a state or a feeling, a encouragement or suggestion, "something occurred in the past, which isn't a obligation"... #peace

Question for Natives: what would you choose between -ing or to with begin, start, continue, intend, bother, cease, love (others?)? I know the grammar rule (=both); I'm asking the real life usage, such as: regional differences, "class" differences, getting used to one and keep on using it (pheraps because the elementary teacher liked one the most), etc...
