Today I want to revisit the Sophie and Toffee art craft subscription box after trying the Crayola subscription CIY box. Crayola's box was honestly one of the worst ones I tried in the last year so I was wondering if I was being unfair. Does the Sophie and Toffee box hold any value? I got this exact same box and I was so confused about how there was so much less blue pigment than red! It wasn’t a packing mistake, I’m pretty sure it was meant to be like that 💗 Please like this so Jackie can see it and anyone else who purchases this box!

Usually the powders are done by weight and in some cases the ingredients weigh more so you get less in the package. At least that's the explanation I have gotten in the past from vendors.

It's over $100 for just a set of D&D dice molds. I've done a lot of research. Also! For coating the inside of the eggs with the powder : if you use one of those useless craft kit brushes to brush it in, you can tap out the excess back into the jar. Less wasted powder. Those foam brushes eat it. But just get a tiny bit in the tips of the bristles.

You totally turned me on to monthly arts 'n crafts subscription boxes, starting with Sophie & Toffee, I also get Adults 'n Crafts and Kawaii Craft Kits. So. Much. Fun! Even though what I do never looks like the videos. One thing is with these is that you get materials and tools in excess of the particular project. So, you start to build up your own collection of tools and materials. Your vids are great and so entertaining! One of the most pleasant people on the internet. lol!

That's the purpose of the starter kit, you get activities basic enough for a starter and it includes everything you need. The basics especially a UV light which they want you to have for future boxes so if you wanted to get into the Sophie and Toffee boxes, you'll need to buy the starter kit first of all-

Omgosh I am so happy to see the shaker mold for this! I STRUGGGGLLLEEE so much with shakers and UV resin and I was so thrilled to see how you did yours. I tend to over pack mine as well and would rather keep an air shaker than oil. I still have no idea how your pigment powder stuck to the resin... mine did not and then the resin wouldn’t cure and it was a hot mess... I also use that flat rose petaly thing as my “spill” base...
