Those are dime store quality. Probably wouldn't even go into the cork without bending or breaking. They're meant for sewing delicates. Not that type of craft. For $40 USD, they could definitely afforded some of those teeny, tiny nails that most people use. Or better yet, actual wood, real nails, and a little hammer! What the actual FUDGEMUFFINS, Crayola! I bought a dream catcher kit for like $10 at micheals and the quality was so much better. It came with faux leather, waxed string, and a bendy needle to make it easier. There was some other things like fake feathers and metal beads too. Not only was the items included better but it actually taught you a good method of making them

These kits make me so angry. If you want a craft kit (technically it’s a STEM kit but a lot of them are focused on art) that’s worth your time, I recommend the KIWI kit. They have tons of different boxes for all different age levels. You also complete a survey for what you’re interested in so that it’s custom to your interests. Many of the kits are reusable, such as the EUREKA crate. They are expensive but it’s totally worth your money. They also come with instructions that not only include how to do the activity but some information surrounding the project. This past month I got one where you could build your own ukulele. The instructions had a history of ukuleles, how soundwaves work, and a few songs for you to play. YOU SHOULD REVIEW THIS JACKIE!!!!!

I've made a few dream catchers before and yes that yarn is too thick for a dream catcher that size and arguably too thick for any dream catcher. You would more commonly use string like the other one they provide for the other project. The way it's wrapped around is also nothing I've ever seen in any other dream catcher. The clock pieces ARE NOT that expensive, because we painted and constructed clocks just like those in grade 3 (8-9 year olds) in PRIMARY SCHOOL. About 17-20 students in a class on average and we had a really big class (24 I think) It was also a public school, so they had a budget. So yeah. They definitely scammed. Side note: MHA fans unite!

In my opinion, the thing that instantly makes me hate it is the color of the May box. Like, you could've at least colored the box rainbow or something and not just plain cardboard. Also, that Dreamcatcher is bad. It's not you, it's the instructions. I've made a lot of Dreamcatchers in my life, and I have never seen instructions that bad.

Omg that’s a total rip off like you have calculated those items you can pick up for coppers . Them clocks you can get here in uk for £2 in most craft supply shops. I would expect pencils crAyons glue scissors paper mini kits etc for that price . Shocking and yes that clay is total pants if I got this for my kids they would be so disappointed.

This may seem out of place but when I was in 5th grade we did this “project” where we made a tiny earth with all the layers out of clay. I’m assuming that the teacher bought crayola clay so she could have enough for all the students. After we made the little Earths we were told to throw them out but I kept it in the back of my desk for months. At the end of the year I finally threw it out when we were cleaning desks and it still hadn’t hardened.
