I think the wife had a little to much fun with the skinny pedal 🤣

Yep, didn't even bother to put this on my route - too far from PA, but the speed bumps reminded me of a trip to the OBX and north of Corolla. Good times! That's why we own Jeeps right - smiles per hour!!

Cool vid! I went to the University of Florida and wheeled all over ONF. It’s gets really fun in a rainstorm and at least there use to be some fun offshoots (I used paper maps back then). I got a 2004 Rubicon stuck there lol.

I am heading down to Florida from GA to do this trail later this year, I cant wait. I have been doing the Georgia Traverse Trail in north Georgia mountains, but this will be my first Badge of Honor trail. I am new to the Badge of Honor program, where do you get the badges? I am signed up for the app already

Sorry for the late response, all you have to do is check in with the app and boom it's done 😁

North and south is a combined 81 miles. We did the north half a couple weeks ago and were out there about 7 hours. That was with seven Jeeps, several short stops to clear downed trees and large brush off the trail, a stop for lunch and a detour around a huge water hazard.

Having just did the Southern half of the Tread Lightly I'd say its definitely not worth planning a trip solely for it. Glad I didn't. I had an excuse going to Orlando for my sons AAU tournament so stopped since it wasn't too far out of the way. But having came from KY otherwise it's not worth it. Nothing technical which I expected considering floridas flat elevation. Sand does get deep in areas. But nothing I didn't get out of in 4L. I didn't even air down. Good place to get out and get dirty but definitely wouldn't do it again. The side trails I stayed to a minimum to avoid pinstripes. Wasn't going to risk paint damage for a trail system of this simple of a rating. I did upload a video of my experience though.

Agree, we were down in Orlando visiting freinds, and yeah the side trails are rough on the paint for sure, I think if you are within a few hours of this place its worth a go for the day to have a little fun.
