If matchroom have the boxers including mandatories of all the commissions then basically they control their intrinsic value and who fights who. At least for a short period he can make the belts worthless. The boxers are the leverage and the draw. Jake’s lead hand defence has been poor, and Woodley’s best punch is the overhand right. Jake looks a bit slimmer than he did against Askren. Seems like he choosing speed and endurance, instead of power; and that’s a good thing, he’ll need it. I think this is a HUGE step up for Jake, and I respect that he’s trying. No one else has their amateur debut in front of 20,000 people live screaming “F Jake Paul” and millions watching online. He’s done well considering this is his 4th fight, and he had no amateur career, and didn’t grow up boxing. Respect.

He was denied to fight Oscar De La Hoya in boxing because of that (maybe if it wasn´t De La Hoya , Danas enemy, they might have let him though). He talked to Ariel about it.
