The Bengals are not losing the season because Burrow is not an elite QB...their arguments are silly.

Great point. Burrow is elite regardless of the team around him. Watch just how bad the Bengals would be without him. I hate this stupid QB wins stat. Let's not take into account that Tom Brady, the goat, had an elite defense and head coach almost every year of his career. Herbert has had two awful coaches that deserved to get fired and a bottom 25% defense every year except for this year. He was getting the wins he got DESPITE the dissaray around him.

If you’re not winning it doesn’t matter how “elite” you are. The Chargers didn’t sign Herbert to that extension for him to be elite on a losing team or on a team that can’t hold 21-pt leads. They don’t pay him to go several games without a pick only to fumble the ball to the opponent precisely when the opponent is building momentum. The fact that he recovered last week was nice, but let’s see what happens against the Ravens this week. If he loses then he’s somehow got four losses this season despite the league’s best defense, which is a bad sign since the defense won’t be this good every year.

If you're asserting that Herbert is a choke artist, I'd ask you why only Mahomes has more comeback victories over the last five years. If you're asserting that good QB's don't throw picks, or almost picks, from time to time, I'd say you don't watch much football. If you're asserting that Herbert throws too many picks, I'd say that he has one interception in ten games and has the lowest turnover worthy play rate of all time, beating out Tom Brady.
