Also there's no scripture of Krishna hyping Karna or removing Ashwathama's stone like shown in the film. When you have that much budjet, why would anyone spend it for robots and places we've seen in many hollywood movies, why can't use that money to show the beauty of Indian culture and architecture like in Bahubali. This movie did not make me root for any characters, there was no emotion in fight scenes. The movie lagged so much bcuz of Prabhas and even if cameos were removed it wouldn't bring any change to the story. According to Puranas Kalki's father name is Vishnuyashas and in the movie Kali's name is Yaskin, in Kalki 2 if they showed Kalki's father as Yaskin, then it'll he just another hinduphobic movie.

One thing is inaccurate in this movie, that is when supreme god takes an avatar, he is never born by a womb like us humans he appears and descends to earth. Like, when lord krishna was born ,he was never in her mother womb ,instead lord vishnu appeared in his 4 armed form in front of his parents and toom the form of a child. When narsimha avatar, was there he appeared out of a pillar or stambh. When matsya avatar was there the lord in form of fish appeared in front of manuh the first human. Fight with Gandharvas: Karna was defeated by Gandharva king Chithrasena, captured Duryodhana and Karna fled away. But Arjuna alone defeated Chithrasena and released Duryodhana 3. Panchal war: Karna was defeated along with other Kauravas by Drupada; Arjun defeated and captured Drupada 4. At Draupadi Swayamvar: Karna fought with Arjun but was defeated by Arjun and Karna retreated. 5. Mahabharat war day 14: Arjuna slaughtered the Kaurava army and defeated Karna and Drona while hunting for Jayadratha. Nobody could stand against him on that day. He destroyed 7 akshauhinis that day (refer wikipedia Drona parva) Who is better: 1. Abhimanyu's death: Abhimanyu defeated Karna many times during the war and he was invincible for anyone so he along with 7 other warriors through betrayal jointly attacked him like a coward. But on 17th day Arjun challenged the entire army to protect Karna's son Vrishsena and killed him in front of Karna in one-to-one battle. 2. Arjuna was ambidextrous: He was the only warrior who could use both right and left hand for using weapon 3. Arjuna could aim and shoot upto many kilometers even during night 4. Arjuna was the only warrior to wield the mighty Pashupatastra in dwapara yuga, which could destroy the entire cosmos; the only warrior to fight Lord Shiva and impress him. If you read Kirata parva, Lord Shiva said, that no one except him and lord Vishnu from all the three worlds could defeat Arjuna 5. Arjuna was the only warrior who knew all the five tatvas of Archery( fifth one is the ability to give back life) 6. Dhanur Veda, the holy scripture of archery starts by praising lord Shiva, lord Rama and Arjuna 7. Arjuna singlehandedly killed 30 million Nivatakavachas and Kalakeyas whom even Ravan couldn't defeat 8. Arjuna was Nara, the partial incarnation of lord Vishnu himself. Now coming to the last mentioned arguments: 1. Indra could have given and equally powerful armor(kavach) to Arjuna as he is also a demigod like Surya. He knew the power of his son but wanted to ensure a fair battle as Karna has a divine protection(which ofcourse, is obtained not because of his skill but as a boon). This would make the battle completely based on skills and weapons and not on boons. Just think, many demons got boons by which they could not be killed easily, eg: Hiranyakashipu, Madhu and Kaitab etc. But does that make them more powerful than lord Vishnu, never... just loopholes to escape death. Also he exchanged it for an even more powerful weapon that puts Arjun in more danger. Exchanging one for another is not dana, it is a trade 2. Nagastra has many counter weapons like Garudastra and Arjun had around 130 celestial weapons in his arsenal. According to BORI CE Mahabharat, KMG and Mridananda interpretation of Mahabharat, it was Ashwasena, a snake who lived in Khandava forest in order to take revenge on Arjuna got into Karna's arrow without Karna's knowledge. It was in this situation Krishna saved Arjuna. But when Ashwasena came face to face with Arjuna on the same day, Arjun killed him. 3. Krishna told Arjuna to fire at the time Karna's chariot sunk in soil in order to give respect to curses and make Karna realize his mistake and to remind him of the situation Abhimanyu was in. Krishna used to praise Karna in front of Arjun to make Arjun more aggressive and vengeful and also for not having any head weight so that he can continue sharping his skills even more. Also, it is clearly mentioned in Mahabharat that Drona taught Karna along with Kauravas and Pandavas. Yes, Karna was a student of Drona(just google for yourself). I was also a Karna fan, but after studying authentic Mahabharat like BORI CE(most accurate one till known), KMG and Swami Mrudananda interpretation and Srimad Bhagavatham, I got to know the real essence of Mahabharat. Please don't believe in TV serials, they create fake stories to increase their rating. Karna was a good warrior no doubt, but he ended up being a good mango gone bad. Pandavas suffered worst but the had complete faith in dharma and Krishna and followed the right path. But, when society started teasing Karna, he had two ways but he chose the wrong path and got a tragic ending all his skills and valor gone without any use to the society or nation, just he surrendered everything to Duryodhana...and that is the difference. Karna fought so well at that point, and only that incident is elevated. You have to keep in mind that Ashwatthama felt Karna is powerful than Arjun. At the final war, without Krishna's help it would have been a tough war to decide. Arjun is obviously powerful as mentioned in Mahabharata but Krishna asked Karna to come on the side of Dharma that alone gives Karna some credit to show how much powerful he can be- How much he can do by taking Dharma side. But, he didn't choose the side of dharma and blindly followed for the friendship- Karna is a bad guy but nevertheless he was a great warrior. There is nothing wrong if people like Karna, but its wrong if they comparitively say Arjuna is lower than Karna. Arjuna is nowhere near this, no dark shade character - he was wise, strong and everything a perfect protagonist can be.

He destroyed 7 akshauhinis that day (refer wikipedia Drona parva) Who is better: 1. Abhimanyu's death: Abhimanyu defeated Karna many times during the war and he was invincible for anyone so he along with 7 other warriors through betrayal jointly attacked him like a coward. But on 17th day Arjun challenged the entire army to protect Karna's son Vrishsena and killed him in front of Karna in one-to-one battle. 2. Arjuna was ambidextrous: He was the only warrior who could use both right and left hand for using weapon 3. Arjuna could aim and shoot upto many kilometers even during night 4. Arjuna was the only warrior to wield the mighty Pashupatastra in dwapara yuga, which could destroy the entire cosmos; the only warrior to fight Lord Shiva and impress him. If you read Kirata parva, Lord Shiva said, that no one except him and lord Vishnu from all the three worlds could defeat Arjuna 5. Arjuna was the only warrior who knew all the five tatvas of Archery( fifth one is the ability to give back life) 6. Dhanur Veda, the holy scripture of archery starts by praising lord Shiva, lord Rama and Arjuna 7. Arjuna singlehandedly killed 30 million Nivatakavachas and Kalakeyas whom even Ravan couldn't defeat 8. Arjuna was Nara, the partial incarnation of lord Vishnu himself. Now coming to the last mentioned arguments: 1. Indra could have given and equally powerful armor(kavach) to Arjuna as he is also a demigod like Surya. He knew the power of his son but wanted to ensure a fair battle as Karna has a divine protection(which ofcourse, is obtained not because of his skill but as a boon). This would make the battle completely based on skills and weapons and not on boons. Just think, many demons got boons by which they could not be killed easily, eg: Hiranyakashipu, Madhu and Kaitab etc. But does that make them more powerful than lord Vishnu, never... just loopholes to escape death. Also he exchanged it for an even more powerful weapon that puts Arjun in more danger. Exchanging one for another is not dana, it is a trade 2. Nagastra has many counter weapons like Garudastra and Arjun had around 130 celestial weapons in his arsenal. According to BORI CE Mahabharat, KMG and Mridananda interpretation of Mahabharat, it was Ashwasena, a snake who lived in Khandava forest in order to take revenge on Arjuna got into Karna's arrow without Karna's knowledge. It was in this situation Krishna saved Arjuna. But when Ashwasena came face to face with Arjuna on the same day, Arjun killed him. 3. Krishna told Arjuna to fire at the time Karna's chariot sunk in soil in order to give respect to curses and make Karna realize his mistake and to remind him of the situation Abhimanyu was in. Krishna used to praise Karna in front of Arjun to make Arjun more aggressive and vengeful and also for not having any head weight so that he can continue sharping his skills even more. Also, it is clearly mentioned in Mahabharat that Drona taught Karna along with Kauravas and Pandavas. Yes, Karna was a student of Drona(just google for yourself). Unke aise hi Dhana Veera Shura Karna nahi bulate , It has to mean something right . Mind you this is also Ashwatthama pov , so obviously acchi baat hi bolega nah woh toh karna ke baare meh . So reincarnation of Karna is necessary to stop Yaskin ... So that Kalki will be born & Kali can be ended.

Kalki distorted the history as well. Arjuna was put under the bus while karna and ashwathama were held high. Ashwathama had to repent the most for his sins. Karna was a benevolent. In terms of valor none can come close to Aruna and his devotion to Krishna was second to none. I guess it is still better than bollywood movies. AB - was wonderful, Prabhas was awesome, kamal was ok. Direction was good. I could not stomach the distortion and reversal of roles of Mahabharata heroes…

I have read the Mrityunjaya, the death conqueror Book by Shivaji Sawant in collage time. And its almost Mahabharat from eyes of Maharathi Karna. The way Ashwadhama show was perfect as in book. And it was really an emotional scene for me when in movie when we got to know real identity of Bhairava. Thats why i really impress by the movie, like maker of this movie really know what they are doing. Hope next movie will more of treat

Kalki 2898 AD is the pride of Indian Cinema and Telugu Cinema. One word review: MINDBLOWING. Do not miss it at any cost. 💯💯💯 I hope Kalki surpasses every Indian movie produced so far including RRR and becomes the most successful Indian film. Absolutely mindblowing except some unnecessary cringe masala and cringe comedy with Bhairava in the first half. Kamal Haasan part is pure horror. The way they have imagined landscapes, environments, weapons, vehicles, powers, Mahabharata scenes is truly exceptional and spectacular. My one suggestion to Nag Ashwin is to explore the Complex society and the outside world more in depth because on the surface it looks like everyone is doing well enough even though they are starving for food, water, clean oxygen and they have just stuck some neon signs randomly on Indian alleyways and streets because that's how cyberpunk movies do it. Anyone who says it is merely a copy of Star Wars, Dune, Mad Max, MCU deserve to drink Kali's tears lol. Excited for Kalki 2 more than I ever was for Brahmastra 2. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are good but Amitabh Bachchan is the MVP. Wow. Disha Patani's part is simply waste. Roxxie could have still been used to show Bhairava the luxuries and abundance of the Complex without that cringe song. Also, unnecessary writing mistakes like superhuman Ashwatthama suddenly not being able to lift Sumathi up should not happen. I wish they would give Shree Krishna better look. No yellow angavastram or armor or jewels or mukut. Just a white cloth and a head band makes him look like a Greek hero. Personally I would have loved to see Shree Krishna blue instead of fair-skinned or dark-skinned because that's how we all grew up watching him in all images. I wish they worked on young Ashwatthama's face better because it is honestly bad, looking like a video game character whenever he spoke with large Disney cartoon eyes. Red Chillies is right there! Deserves to be watched atleast twice. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 PS. For non-Indians and Karna (son of Sun God Surya) fans watching this, Karna was not more powerful than Arjuna. Karna is an antagonist and an adharmi in the Mahabharata who was jealous of Arjuna and committed many evil deeds and suffered for his karma and choosing the wrong side against the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shree Krishna. Period. But he is not a cheeranjeevi (immortal) like Ashwatthama. How has he reborn or reincarnated remains to be seen. Note that according to some, Karna pushing Arjuna's chariot back is a fake story and Ashwatthama surrendered the mani himself.
