You can’t fake being such a good person, your whole life. I’ve never ever heard a bad word about him. And I don’t think money means too much to him or that having a lot of it means that you are better than others. I hope he has a long and happy fulfilling life.

Keanu Reeves is one of those guys who seems as genuine and caring as one could ever hope for. He’s had quite a bit of sadness and pain in his life, but he does what he can to keep going as you can’t let all the unfortunate things keep you down forever. He’s a very nice man and very good at acting. Thank you for the analysis Dr. Grande, keep up the great work and have a great weekend!

Keanu may not be the best at acting, but I have never seen any actor try so hard to do a good job. Check out the behind the scenes where he tries to perfect everything he is doing to get it right, and is pretty hard on himself when he misses. He seems like a very good and generous person overall, and it's shocking that a person like him could survive in the existing corrupt Hollywood system. My opinion of him has only grown more positive over the years, the more I see, unlike nearly every single other actor in Hollywood. There should be a rule at the Academy awards, that any time an actor assaults anybody else, that all their awards automatically gets transfered to Keannu instead, no matter what they are or when they got them, just to make a point.

One of the nicest things I remember about him is when he answered the question "what do you think happens to us when we die?" on a talk show and Keanu said "I know that the ones who love us will miss us." and the crowd went nuts. There are so many nice stories about Keanu - you would need another 2 hours. I think his acting and selection of roles is also outstanding for the most part. I am sad that his girlfriend that was pregnant with their child died in a car accident in the early 2000s. I wish Keanu all the best and hope he finds happiness for the rest of his life!

Yes, I met him - without knowing who he was until the next day. I was selling vintage clothes at an East Village flea market. He bought the last vintage belt. I didn't know who he was, but as he left, I watched him, because there was something about him.... He was very polite. But I just had the feeling that there was a lot to him. Next day, I opened the New York Post to Page 6 and there was this little article about Keanu Reeves being seen in the East Village the day before. Such a short encounter, but I was affected. Strange.

Keanu is a shiny example of "don't do to others what you wouldn't want to experience yourself", with a great deal of introspection, sense of the big picture and auto-correction. He has experienced fragility of life himself and wants to be as kind as possible, as kindness returns to the owner as much as it's good to the outside world. I do think he's an introvert overall.

I’m not sure any other actor could have pulled off the role of Neo in the Matrix series quite like he did. In my opinion, he carried these movies in a profound way that left an indelible mark in movie making history (Carrie Moss was amazing as Trinity as well). Authentic. That's what he is to me. I get the vibe he couldn't care less about his celeb status & Hollywood lifestyle but, really loves his work. So, he focuses on it's positives - getting to meet new people & fans from all walks of life & opportunity to help others on a larger scale than most could w/out the means or platform he's been blessed with. I also think the tragic losses & heartache he unfortunately had to endure fairly early in life, caused him to mature earlier than he otherwise might have. He learned about strength of character, how to persevere, what truly matters in life & not to take people or time for granted. To live now bc it's the only thing we're guaranteed. Sorry for the long rant. I just adore the man. 💖🙌

I wonder how what he experienced in his private life, with his stillborn daughter and then the death of Jennifer Syme, influenced the way he look at life and acts. I personally think those terrible loses have a lot to do, I know he was a close friend of River Phoenix too, his co-star in My Own Private Idaho. I was a young girl when I first saw him as Ted and then obviously have a crush on him as a young teen with Point Break and the following films, I started looking back to his filmography too if available here in my country. I think he's good in dramatic roles when the script and director is good. I don't have a problem with him in Dracula. I've seen him in bad films. I wish him the best, he have been here in my country, I wish I could have met him.

This was a breath of fresh air. It is nice to have a good news video for a change. It also shows that a person can make the best of a difficult up-bringing and that he has both feet on the ground. My favorite Keanu Reeves story: In New York in 2014 Keanu Reeves was going to a wrap party for one of his films. Upon arriving at the club the bouncers didn’t recognize him. He stood out in the rain for 20 minutes waiting to get into HIS party and didn’t say anything like “Do you know who I am?”, or make a big scene. Instead he went to the back of the line and patiently waited until someone finally recognized him and let him in to his own party. If this doesn’t sum up his integrity and lack of ego idk what does. I don’t think any celebrity alive currently would have done what he did in this instance. It is simply impossible to not love Keanu Reeves both as an actor and a human being

Hello Dr. Grande, could you please analyze Yaser Abdel Said? He is the so-called father who fatally shot his teen daughters Amina and Sarah in the back of his taxi in 2008, and was just tried and convicted a few days ago and will now spend the rest of his life in prison. Originally from Egypt, he took a 15-year-old American girl, Patricia Owens, as his wife when he was 30. He abused her, and he also emotionally, physically, and sexually abused his daughters. I believe that he is a malignant narcissist. I also think that it's worthwhile to cover some of Patricia's behaviour, as many blame her for her part in returning the girls to Yaser after they attempted to flee his abuse, with Amina having already been subjected to serious death threats by her father.

Keanu is just a kind, down to earth, likable, sweet guy. How can anyone not like him? I suppose certain movies he's been in are very memorable to someone my age because we're from the same generation. I absolutely love "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and even it's sequel! "The Matrix" trilogy is quite memorable as well. I've seen a LOT of movies starring Keanu and I can't help but just love him! He never caves to Hollywood demands of dating a young, blonde bimbos, but instead shares his time and love of creativity with a normal, sweet, very intelligent woman named Alexandra. She's an artist and they create wonderful art and other amazing projects together. He follows his heart, not his fellow actors model of stupidity and selfishness. He is without a doubt the nicest man in Hollywood, if not one of the nicest human beings on earth. I think he's a wonderful actor who is perfect for the roles that made him iconic (even if some are a bit silly! 😉) I'd love to sit and have a coffee with him and just talk about his life and what his perception of the world is. I think I'd learn a lot and I bet I'd learn a lot about humility and what being a decent human being is truly about. I really loved and enjoyed this video, so thanks Dr. Grande! (I'm sorry if my wording and syntax was a bit jittery here, but sometimes it's difficult for me to express my thoughts in a coherent and understandable way. 🙃)

Obviously you’ve done enough research to know Grant is a full blown narcissist. Proof is in You Tube videos and quotes in magazine interviews. After she only made one sale in Marfa, Texas, she lashed back in her next interview (in Germany) sayin, “You don’t want to sound like a Southener”. She also contradicts herself constantly. She’s a grifter and a con-artist who targeted Keanu through their mutual friend Janey. (His prior assistant.) Her own sister doesn’t talk to her anymore after she conned her, her own sister, and Jessica Fleishman. Be wary of Grant. She’s bad news and will try to destroy Keanu if he stops funding her.

Some of the actors you listed as good in every type of role are actors I think are the same person in every role, just in different situations. Specifically Harrison Ford: put him in a plain shirt and jeans and have him act lines from any of his movies to someone who is unfamiliar with him, and they'd be hard pressed to tell which ones were from different movies. I did that also, it isn't fun, but it does have weird benefits of being hyper-present in the moment. You don't know the social hierarchy of any class or group, so you become almost incandescently amiable. When I looked back over my yearbooks, I was stunned how many wrote how kind I was. He realises that he occupies a lucky space in society that affords him privileges that others aren’t able to experience, access or leverage. He’s a private guy who has sadly experienced loss but chose to keep his pain and loss private. Yes, he makes millions but he doesn’t thrust that in anyones face, he recognises that he’s done well but he seems down to earth, modest and just wants to be a decent person whilst enjoying his art, celebrity and opportunities that come with being successful. @@keanucharlesreeves423 not for sure if you are the real you or a you tube troll, but if this is reaching the actual Mr Reeves, I just wanted to say, “well done Sir.” Do not let fans, tradgey, or money change who you are. These things do affect us all but let them build you and enhance what is already there.

My favorite Keanu movie is A Scanner Darkly, based off a Philip K. Dick novel. Great analysis Doc, thanks!✌🏻

Hello Dr Todd, I haven't seen many of Keanu's films, but I've only ever heard nice things about him as a persn. Just the other day I read that he's a very generous man, often giving gifts and money to film crew and even giving his entire film fee away, so unlike his peers he's not bothered by wealth. I'm so happy for him that he's finally found love again and wish him and his partner nothing but happiness. He's the sort of person who I'd enjoy going for a beer, with....one of the world's better people. I greatly enjoyed your insights into his character, thank you. Penny from Christchurch. 🇬🇧

"God Favors the Prepared: A Sermon on Keanu Reeves" Greetings to those seeking a life of joy and peace in this fallen, troubled world. Today's sermon shows that not everyone we meet is destined for hell. It's difficult to escape from this preconception, but with the life of Keanu Reeves we see how the truly blessed may hope for a better life for themselves and for those they love and cherish. (1) Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure sets the stage for a lifetime of laughs and good times. Perhaps a darker turn might be seen in My Own Private Idaho, one of Reeves' best performances. (2) Point Break shows Reeves blending in with a variety of subcultures: narcotics, bank robbery and surfers. Along with Gary Busey, the Reeves' character shows both goodness and righteousness. (3) I know that The Matrix was quite popular but I have nothing to say about that series other than recommending Jonathan Glover's book (BFI film classics) The Matrix. (4) John Wick is interesting but not remarkable. This brings us to what makes Reeves exceptional: it's his compassion and empathy, something rarely displayed by high profile public figures. For someone with so much money, he is so positive. This is clearly an indication of God's blessing. Amen.

One of the very few (if any) cases of the nice guy does not always finish last. Wish there was more of that phenomena. I try to be as nice as possible but attract rat-bags like flies to cow-dung. huMAN natURE...... I think the movie "Speed" with Sandra Bullock really kick-started his career.
