Im a westerner working in both China & USA, and first time I visited KFC in China, I was blown away to see Dan Tart on the menu, had to try it, and it was GOOD! Anyone try KFC's Dan Tart? They seriously perfected it. 😎

McDonald's in China also delivers to your table. In fact, when I went to Shanghai to compete for Canada as a Powerlifter at the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games, we went to a McDonald's at the Downtown Shanghai area. It was at a McDonald's which is not very busy. Their menus are easy to understand, and the staff deliver food to your table.

I was in China last year 2018 and went to KFC, it was by the mall in the city, Zhuhai Xiangzhou in Guangzhou province. I ordered a family meal. It was world's better than any KFC I have been to in the U.S.

I’m from Shanghai and can’t remember when was the last time I went to a kfc both inside and outside China. But I do remember when I was in elementary school and the so call new Orlean chicken wing just came out and me and my dad had 40 of those. I have never eaten another one by this day haha.

KFC is the best especially when it was just launched in China in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich will always have a place in my heart because of how crispy and whole the chicken is, plus the lettuce and ungodly amount of mayo on top of it, the best part- the sandwich was actually SPICY! Their later item like the Mexican Chicken wrap was also very good, and of course, all of their meal comes with a Pepsi!

KFC in China is just better than in America. Simple as that. The egg tarts are great, the breaded chicken sandwich is better than any chicken sandwich that I've had in the states aside from Chick-Fil-A of course. Also, you can still totally take a girl on a date there. I take my girlfriend there quite often because it's her favorite western food place here in China. Also, you missed their xueding kafei Ice Cream Coffee, that's a great classic of Chinese KFC.

KFC was and still is considered as a top food in China just because it's "western food." Chinese people usually don't eat sandwich, fries, burger, and those other fast food. Our food is just different and most of them is about using wok and stir fry. We don't really eat bread in general and it's just rice/noodle as main food. It's the same for a lot of other Asian countries.

Where are the fragrant spicy wings? That's the superstar item of KFC China IMO and it has been on the menu since day one. The flour coating is much thinner than the southern style wings from KFC USA. The meat is thoroughly seasoned with hot spices. Even the bones could be flavorful. It seems you guys only ordered those "interesting" items from the menu. Seriously I would never consider having Peking duck or rice dishes in KFC.
